How I met Toni Sullivan Chapter 6

I decided to go to the park writing a song when I heard a scream and someone landed on me.

"Ouch."the person said. I looked up and titled my head to the side.

"Toni?"

"Nick! I'm so sorry.One of my wheels broke."She said getting off of me.

"You're right...we do have to stop meeting like this."I chuckled.

"It's a good thing we did. Look,Jeanette told my mom about us hanging out and she wants to meet you and your brothers. So she is having this little dinner party tomorrow night."She said.

"Oh,cool. We'll be there."I smiled. She sighed.

"You don't have to."She groaned.

"But I want to meet your Mom."I said.

"No...you don't. But if you insist, here's the address."She wrote on my hand,"And the dress code is formal."

"Does this mean I get to see you in a dress?"I teased.She rolled her eyes.

"Unfortunately. I hate dresses."She scowled.

"Don't worry. I'm sure you'll look amazing."I said.She blushed and tucked a strand of her hair behind her ears.

"See you at 8."She said.I nodded.

The next evening, I fixed my black tie and slipped on my black blazer. I fixed my hair and sprayed some cologne. Joe walked by.

"Ooh,Look at you getting all fixed up for Toni."He smirked. I ignored him.

"You guys ready?"Kevin asked. We all drove in Kevin's car to the address Toni gave me. We pulled up to a large house with a gate and a large yard.

"Is this the right place?"Joe asked. I looked at the address and back at the house.

"Yeah."I said.A guard opened the gate and we drove in. We saw a black Lamborgini and a yellow Ferrari. Kevin rang the door bell and a man with dark hair answered it.

"Hello sir. I'm Nick Jonas.These are my brothers Kevin and Joe. We were invited by Toni."I said nervously.

"Oh yes. Please come in.My name is Leonard The Sullivans have been expecting you. May I take your coats?."He smiled and opened the door.

"Oh No Thank you."Kevin replied.

We stepped inside and I heard Joe gasp. The house was bigger inside. There was a large Chandelier above us, A big staircase,a long dining table,and on the wall were pictures of the family.We then heard loud heels clacking on the tile.

Jeanette,Toni,and Jasper's Mother. She had brown eyes and black hair.She was a splitting image of Jasper.

"Hello! My name is Cecilia Sullivan. You must be Nicholas,Joseph,and Kevin."She said.

"Yes. You have a beautiful home Mrs.Sullivan."Kevin said in awe.

She laughed."Why thank you. Jasper is in the basement. You boys can wait there while we all wait for Jeanette and Antoinette."Mrs. Sullivan said.

"Er...Antoinette?"I asked.

"Yes. My daughter. She invited you all here didn't she?" Then it clicked.

Toni was short for Antoinette.

"Madam, I think they know her as Toni."Leonard said.

"Honestly,that child should be proud of her name."Mrs.Sullivan said.

Joe snickered,"Antoinette."

"It's not funny Joe."I said biting back a smile.

I don't get why she was embarrassed. The name was beautiful like she was.

"Doesn't Antoinette mean 'Worthy of Praise'?"Kevin asked.

"Yeah it does."Jasper said.

"Hey man."I said.

"Hey,you brought your brothers."He said.

"Told you."I said.

"Let's play guitar hero."Jasper said. Kevin's eyes lit up.

"That's my game!"He said.

"Whoa you own all this?"Joe asked referring to the X-box, Wii,and PS3.

"Yeah."Jasper answered.
