Life as we know it - 08

Emie sat down on the bed, she pouted and a second later she screamed. Janette ran inside with a toilet brush. “ What happened?!” She asked and looked around the room. Emie looked at her.
“ What are… Where you in the bathroom?” Emie asked trying not to laugh.
“ Well a girl also has to-”
“Do number two” Emie filled in.
“ Shut up! But seriously… why did you scream I thought you where attacked or something…sitting there in just your underwear”
“ Well I just don’t know what to wear to my date”
“ah…well let me help you” Janette walked over to the closet and noticed that there was no clothes. “ Where’s the-” She turned around and saw all Emie’s clothes spread on the floor, bed and nightstand. “..oh” Janette saw Hyo coming into the room. “ Wait here!” She smiled and ran out the room. Emie took up her son and kissed him on the cheek, making the boy laugh.
“ I love you” She said and stroke his hair.
“ I love you” the boy replied. Emie starred at the boy. Janette came back and saw Emie just staring at the boy.
“ if it smells, he did number two” Janette said.
“ He said I love you!” Emie squealed and kissed her son again but this time on the forehead.
“ He did?!” Janette asked. And the girls started to jump up and down screaming in happiness until Janette realized that the boy actually could say more that contained three words. “ Anyway, here’s the dress… I know you like pink, and I was going to give it to you for your birthday, but… well you kinda need it now” Janette said and handed over a big box to Emie.
“ But my birthday is next month”
“ I know” Emie opened the box and saw a dress, it was pink alright, and it was just her style, not too short and not too long ( it was actually just a plain pink dress). “ THANK YOU!” She shouted and threw herself over Janette.
“ your welcome, but go get yourself ready, he’ll be here soon!”
“right!” Emie ran off with the dress and 15 minutes later she came back. “ Now all I need is make-up!” She smiled.

“ He’s here!” Janette Shouted and grabbed Hyo and ran into her room. Emie walked to the door when the doorbell rang and opened.
“ Hi” She smiled.
“ hey” He replied. His eyes widened as he saw her dress.
“ is it too fancy?” Emie asked when she saw his expression.
“ No…It’s great!” He smiled. Emie blushed. “ Are you babysitting?” He looked behind her and saw tons of toys.
“ Well I was today, didn’t have time to clean up, sorry” Emie smiled. She felted terrible to lie to him, but she felted like he would leave if she told him Hyo was her kid now. “ Shall we go?” She asked. Ji Yong nodded.

Emie looked at Ji Yong as he stopped by the side of the road. It was deserted from people and cars and Emie couldn’t quite figure out what he had thought with all this. “ Why are we here?” She asked. She gasped “ You’re not going to do anything dirty!?” She asked. Ji Yong starred at her for a moment before he burst out in laughs and Emie looked at him terrified.
“ No, I just like this place, it’s a peaceful place and it has a beautiful view. Ji Yong looked forward which made Emie turn her head forward. He was right, it was a beautiful view. There was this hill with a big tree, the sun was behind the tree making shadows of the leaves on the ground. “ come” Ji Yong was outside of the car, Emie wondered when he had gotten out but got out herself and walked over to him. He grabbed her hand, which as quite a shock for her, he took her to the big tree and they sat down leaning against it.
“ this is the date?”
“ you don’t like it?”
“ yeah, I just… I thought I would be going to a fancy restaurant…I didn’t eat anything today”
“ WHAT?!” Ji Yong looked at her.
“ I’m kidding! I ate like… like a man!” Emie smiled “ You would think Im pregnant again but I’m not!” she smiled. She noticed how Ji Yong looked at her weirdly. “ what?” She asked.
“ pregnant… again?” Emie just realized what she had said. She sat silent, trying to come up with something to say, but the only thing that came up was the truth.
“ Well… actually… I’m not a babysitter… The boy… Hyo, he’s my son” Ji Yong’s eyes widened.
“ You have a kid?!”
“ yeah… and I didn’t want to say anything cause I didn’t think it would get so serious, but then… you asked me out and I couldn’t say that I had a kid, then you would probably cancel the date…” Emie babbled. Ji Yong took a deep breath.
“ Well it sure is a shock!” He said. Emie bit her bottom lip.
“ I’m sorry to ruin the date” He shot his eyes at her direction.
“ No, don’t say that”
“ but I have”
“ No, you just told me something about yourself, that’s kind of a big shock” Ji Yong explained. Emie looked at him. He smiled at her. “ come on, I’ll take you out now”
“ So this wasn’t the date?”
“ yes, just one part, we’re going to a restaurant now” He took her hand and when she got on her feet they looked at each other and Emie couldn’t help but to wish that he could kiss her. It was like he had read her mind. He leaned in and kissed her on the lips. Just a quick one. She looked at him. “ I guess I can live with you having a kid” He smiled. She smiled back. The he kissed her again, but this time it was longer...
