“She’ll be fine” came The blonde girl with ringlets framing her face she stroked Serena’s beautiful face, “Just make sure she rests more” I nodded my head as the boy with long dark black hair sighed “She let Carver get to her again” before night” “I can’t go in there” I said as he looked me up and down “I’ll wait out here for you”
“You see last year, she went on a mission with her brother and he faced Carver” came Lucille “The only reason Syd didn’t kill him was because She was standing there, She was frozen, shocked that her brother was really going to kill him, ever since Syd became a little less numb to his job”
“She’ll wake up soon” came Magnus as he disappeared
“Your doing a good job” came Lucille as she faded away too, leaving me with her she woke up 20 minutes later rubbing her head as I passed her some food she shook her head no and sighed “You have to eat, then you can sleep. I bet your tired too”
“ Who have you been talking too, Lucille” she smiled as she picked up a fry “She worries too much, but then again everyone says I worry too less”
“No Im just concerned” I said as she rolled her eyes
“You don’t believe me”
“Nope” She sighed as she pushed back her hair “I don’t know”
I sighed as I sipped my soda “Well go to the tunnels in the morning so we make it home
She nodded her head as she finished the food, she walked into the bathroom then got into bed, We only had one bed since the hotel was booked. She was fast asleep when I got into bed, she rolled over and held onto my chest, she was on fire and a tear fell down her eye. She held on me for dear life…
“Where’s the car” I asked as we walked out to a Black Tahoe, It was early real early but you could see the morning sun coming up, the cool air hit my face as I climbed in.
“I dropped it, all that blood and we woulda been tracked” he said as he started towards the underground city, I nodded my head as I meditated all the way there, Something wasn’t right when we pulled up I had gotten this eerie feeling. “Whats wrong” He asked as we walked towards the tunnel, I touched the ground and snatched my hand back

“Please don’t make go in there” I said about to cry, I couldn’t repeat what I just saw It was too painful, He nodded and went about his way as something was pulling me towards another drain way, I walked over and touched it, I had to go in…
I came out, there was a massacre of the Chan clan everyone from babies to seniors had been slaughtered. I shook my head trying to clear it of all the devastation, It was around noon when I got back to the car. Where was Serena? I followed her scent to the car but she wasn’t there I sighed, I put my hands on my head I hope nothing happened to her it seemed like my heart had stopped, then I heard her laughing when I looked up someone was holding her hand as she walked towards the car…
“His name is Lance” I said as the boy climbed into the backseat, he was covered in dirt and blood, but other than being scared he was fine. “ Victor killed his family, his whole clan”
“Yea” Quincey said sadly as Lance fell asleep in the back “What are we going to do with him, we can’t take him to an orphanage, he’s not human”
I shrugged “Maybe they can put him in a temporary home, just till things settle down”
“Did you see what happened” he asked
“Yea, We have to stop him” I said
“No not that” He said shaking his head “What happened to his parents”
“They died trying to save him” I said sadly it hit close to home, Quincey patted my hand and told me everything would be alright but I knew that was a lie, this was the begging of something huge…
“Is my dad here” I asked Betty as she nodded her head yea,
“He’s in a meeting” she said typing away “He should be out soon, I’ll let him know you and Mr. DeVoe are here to see him”
“Thanks” I said as I walked to one of the offices that had been made into a bedroom, My dad stayed here a lot since he would work on long missions. I placed Lance in the bed and rubbed his head as snored lightly.
