Neko's Song- Mythical Detective Loki Ragarok, Chapter 2

"Alright everyone!" I said to the two people sitting at the table. "Dinner is served!" I placed down a platter carrying cheese pizza. "I may not have fancy ingredients like Yamino, but I made do!" I said. As I started to walk away, Loki asked, "Wait! Aren't you going to eat as well Twi?" I turned around, allowing Star to catch up to me. "Nah. One, I already hunted before coming here." I replied. "And two?" he pressed. "And two, well... I can't reach the chair." I said dejectedly. Yamino, who was spacing out for most of the conversation, stood up. "I can help you with that Miss Twilight." He picked me up. "Hey!" I exclaimed. "What do you think your doing?" Loki sighed. "Geez, Twi, relax. He's just helping you out." Starlight was merely watching the whole scene over a bowl of meat. "Starlight! Help me out here!" At that she buried her nose in her plate. I was plopped on the chair, then started slowly eating the still-warm pizza. "Oh, Yamino," I said, turning to the glasses wearing being. "Yes?" he responded. "Tonight, I'll show you my power, for your benefit," I said, jumping from my (super high) chair. "Loki, we're going to Karaoke Heaven tonight." After I took a shower, Yamino drove us towards the popular karaoke place. As Loki, Yamino, Starlight, and I stepped in, Loki was glomped by a girl with pink hair. "Mayura, please get off me," he said calmly. I tapped his shoulder as soon as he was released. "Loki, intoductions." He sighed. "Mayura, this is my friend Twilight. Twilight, Mayura." Mayura smiled at me, the looked down at Loki. "But why are you here Loki?" she said. "Don't you have some kind of mysterious case to solve?" He put his hands up. "Don't look at me; Twi's the one that wanted to come here." Mayura looked at me. "What can I say? I love music," I said grinning. "Now, come on Loki!" I dragged the little god to the karaoke stage. I told the band what I wanted to sing, and they nodded. Loki was standing dumbstruck on stage. "Come on Loki," I whispered to him as the music started. "You know this song." His eyes widened, and he smiled. We each took a mic. I tapped the rhythm with my foot and looked at Loki. People looked at us, the two kids and scoffed. "They have no chance at beating the champion, Hania!" The music stopped as a blond girl with hazel eyes walked in. She looked at us carefully. "Well, I'll give you my best!" she said with a kind smile. The band started playing. Hania took the microphone in a firm grasp, which I was rather surprised at. She started singing.

Everyone clapped. Loki and I grinned at each other as we walked on stage and the band started playing...
