A New Life In Konoha (Sasuke/Kiba Part 9)

I rested my head on Kiba's chest. I then thought I needed to talk to Naruto.
'Naruto?' I telepathicly sent. (remember? Mizuki is telepathic.)
'Mizuki?'
'Yeah... I'm telepathic too, but anyway... how's Sakura?'
'She's here with me and Hinata right now.'
'Oh... so I can't come home anytime soon huh?'
'Yeah... Sorry. I don't know how long this is going to be until they leave. You know girls it could be all night.'
'No no! Its okay.' I then Broke the connection between me and Naruto.
"C'mon.... Let me take you home." Kiba said helping me stand up.
"The thing is... I can't go home."
"What do you mean?"
"See I'm telepathic and I asked Naruto how Sakura was and he said that she was at our apartment with him and Hinata right now. And he doesn'tknow how long its gonna be until they leave."
"Oh I see." He looked to the ground. "Maybe... You could stay with me." He said rubbing the back of his head.
"Are you sure? Your parents won't mind?"
"Well... They are out on a mission along with my sister right now." I felt my face grow red. Don't tell me he's trying to make a move on me! He then looked to meet my eyes and relized what I was thinking. "No! No don't get the wrong idea!" He said in a panic.
"I know I know." I said. He then grabbed my hand and we went back to his place.
Once there he opened the door and turned on the light to his house. The dogs were already asleep. No surprise, it was alreay 11 at night. "Here let me show you to where you will sleep." He said showing me to a room. He turned on the light to the bedroom. It was a nice spacious room. "This is my sister's room. I don't think she would mind you sleeping here for a night."
"Thanks." I said. "Is it okay if I take a shower?"
"Uhh... Sure." He said showing me the way to the bathroom. "I'll just go get you a change of clothes." He then left. I turned on the shower to let it warm up. I then heard a few knocks at the door.
"Come in." Kiba then opened the door slowly to be sure I was still dressed.
"Here." He said holding out some clothes.
"Thanks." I then grabbed the clothes and put down.
"My room is right next to the one you are staying in if you need anything." He said before leaving. I then quickly took my shower and dried my hair. I then put on the changed of clothes Kiba had gotten for me. I could tell they were his. They were like Naruto's, 100 times bigger then I was. I then left the bathroom. I went into the bedroom and quickly fell asleep.
There was a flash of light. I quickly woke up to the sound of thunder. I began to shake. It was 2 in the morning. It was a perfect night! What happened!? Then another crack of thunder. I curled up into a ball on the bed. Thunder storms have always scarred me. Just then another flash of lighting followed by another crack of thunder. This one was louder then the first. I sat up on the bed and made my way into Kiba's bedroom. "Kiba" I whispered. He didn't hear me. Then Another crack of thunder came. I squealed and made my way to the side of Kiba's bed. The rain was pounding on the roof. How did Kiba sleep through this? "Kiba?" I said a little louder.
"Five more minutes." Kiba let out before opening his eyes. He looked up. A surprised look came onto his face. "M-Mizuki? What are you doing in here?" He asked sitting up from his bed. Then another crack of thunder came and I jumped into Kiba's arms. "Are you scare of thunderstorms?" I burried my head in his chest giving a slight nod. "Don't worry you can stay in here tonight." He said laying down. He wrapped an arm around my waste. Just then I relized Kiba was shirtless. I felt my face grow red. Good thing Kiba couldn't see me.
"Kiba?" I whispered.
"Yeah?" He asked bring a hand to my cheek.
"Why... why didn't you let me leave after..." I trailed off. Not wanting to finish the sentence.
"Because." He said in a sweet voice.
"Why? Tell me why!?" He then kissed my forhead.
"Lets start from the begginning. You had been in the bathroom for awhile and I became worried. So I went to look for you and thats when I found Sasuke kissing you. I saw you kiss back. I was hurt." I could tell he was trying not to cry. Hurt was in his voice. "I didn't know what to think. Then I saw you push Sasuke away and yell at him. Thats when I knew that... you didn't want him." He said kissing my forehead. "Thats why, I knew you loved me. If you liked Sasuke I don't think you would have pushed him away." I then began to cry. "Why are you crying?"
"Because..." I didn't know why. No... I did know why. I felt guily because... I enjoyed kissing Sasuke. It was hard to push him away. But I had too. Then another crack of thunder came but I didn't jump. I felt protected in Kiba's arms. I soon fell asleep.
I then awoke in Kiba's arm. I looked up to find him still asleep. He looked so peaceful when he was asleep. I cuddled closer to him. This woke him. "Good morning." He whispered.
"Morning." He then lifted my chin so I was facing him he leaned in closer and gave me a sweet kiss. Soon it came into a total makeout session. After a few minutes we broke apart for air. "I better be getting home soon."
"Yeah." I could hear disappointment in his voice. I sat up in bed and gave him a peck on the cheek.
"I'll go make breakfast." He grabbed my arm and pulled me back into his arms.
"No, I'll go make breakfast, you stay in bed." He said before getting up. He then left the room. After a few minutes I decided to get up. I slowly made my way to the Kitchen.
"It smells good in here."
"Thanks."
"Where's the phone? I think I should call Naruto before he has a heart attack." Kiba laughed.
"Right there." He said pointing over to the wall. I dialed the number. After a few rings Naruto answered.
"Hello?"
"Hi Naruto."
"Mizuki! Where are you?"
"I'm with Kiba right now, is Sakura and Hinata still there?"
"Yeah, they stayed in the living room all night. I couldn't bare to send them home.... Wait! Did you say you with Kiba!? Did you stay with him all night!?"
"Don't worry! Nothing happened. I promise" I heard Kiba laugh. I rolled my eyes. "Well, when do you think I can be back?"
"Tonight at the latest. If anything happens I'll call you."
"Okay. Bye." We hung up the phone.
"So whats going on?"
"Hinata and Sakura are still at the apartment. I'm afraid to face Sakura." I felt tears come. But I held them back.
"What if I'm with you when you go home? I mean, if anything happens I'll be there for you." He said putting the plates on the table.
"Really?"
"Yeah, you don't have to worry."
We then sat down to eat breakfast. And let me tell you it was delicious!
"Wow! I that was really good!" I said helping him clean up the dishes.
"Thanks." he said heading to his room. "I'll be right out." He said. I then sat on the couch to wait for Kiba. He left his bedroom. "You ready to go?"
"Yeah. Oh! I need to get my Kimono." I said running into the bedroom. I grabbed my Kimono and went to Kiba.
"I'll carry that for you." He said grabbing it and putting into a bag. He then grabbed my hand as we exited his house. "You nervous?" He asked.
"A little."
"Don't worry, I'll be here for you." He said giving my hand a reasuring squeeze as we made our way to the door of the apartment. I don't know whats going to happen, but... at least I have Kiba here with me.
