Dark Nights 20, Damnit Let Me Go! [for girls]

You knew your way around this area, it was rundown but not that bad, and you knew there was a bus station not to far down the road. 'No money,' you thought, patting your pockets, but it didnt mattered, there would be people, actual people, and your nightmare would finally be over. You turned the corner and glimpsed the bus stop not fifty feet away, there were even a couple bums and a few men standing around, or lying on the benches. With a sigh of infinite relief you took a step forward, feeling all the weight of fear and uncertainty lift from your shoulders. But half a second later it came crashing back down with double force as a hand closed over your moth and an arm snatched around your waist, both pulling you backwards, away from the bus stop, out of sight. "Ma cherie," a reproving voice said in your ear, "what are you thinking?" You made indistinct noises and smacked at his hand while trying to wriggle our of his iron grip. A black car was sitting in the street, it was a new Mercedes, with darkly tinted windows and flashy rims. Daniel dragged you to the car before letting you go and spinning you around to face him. "What do you think youre doing?" he snapped. You looked away, back down the street, and felt the sudden urge to cry. "Going home," you whispered. His grip tightened on your arms, becoming now a painful pressure. You wouldn't meet his eye. Then the pressure let up on one side, you looked up. He was opening the car door, and the next thing you knew, he had shoved you inside and was climbing in too. Koji was behind the wheel and sped of as soon as the door was closed. You fumbled with the seatbelt in the awkward silence that settled over the car. Thinking back to not ten minutes before, you were saddened, upset that you didnt really appreciate the effort theyd put into saving you, but also upset that they wouldnt let you go home. "Im not your pet you know," you whispered, staring at your hands. "Im not a toy either, Im a person." Koji made some sort of gurgling noise and from the corner of your eye, you could see Daniel staring out the car window. He turned to you suddenly, looking cold and distant, very much like a vampire, you noticed for the first time. "You are a human, and we are vampires, we are the more powerful ones here, therefore we are in charge. A human like you cannot tell me or even Koji what to do, it is not your place." You clenched your fists, and repressed the urge to punch some emotion into his face. Fighting when he was in a mood like this was not advisable. You gave up on the seatbelt and looked at your door, it was unlocked. In a split second decision you threw the door to the moving car open and tried to jump out. Koji slammed on the breaks as Daniel leaped across and pulled you back into the car. "You crazy girl! What the Hell are you doing?!" he shouted. You kicked and struggled as he held onto you and the door swung shut again. You spent the rest of the car ride in the middle seat with a firm hand on your arm to keep you from going anywhere. The car pulled into an allay behind the house then through a large wooden gate and into the back courtyard of the mansion. Koji got out and padlocked the gate while Daniel dragged you out of the car and back into the house. You noticed that the back door had been repaired as you were pulled by. He dragged you straight upstairs and into your room where he threw you down on the bed and stood glaring down at you, his blue eyes sparking with annoyance and some sort of rage.
