ive been good, ^_^ as a matter of fact, the other day- heyyy =_= GET ON WITH THE STORY!!! (me- o.o)

You breathe heavily with relief just as another voice breaks the silence, "Yes, I most definitely heard a noise down here. Very faint though it may be, I have reason to believe if she is in this area, she may be here." It's Kurama's voice. You breathe a heavy sigh of relief and walk toward the sound of their voices, trying to call out for them but feeling a lump rise in your throat. You swallow dryly trying to clear the lump. Kurama stops short and listens, "I think I heard something" You smack your throat in frustration, trying to call out to them, all the while, the lump grows bigger, making it difficult to breathe. Kurama walks toward you, the light in his hand bouncing vaguely on the black abyss of the cavern walls. His fierce green eyes meet yours. He frowns slightly and walks toward you. Your heart skips a beat. Hiei strains his eyes in the direction of Kurama's, "What is it?" he asks gruffly. Kurama does not acknowledge his question, and steps slowly toward you. You widen your eyes in disbelief and wonder frantically why Hiei cant see you, as your gaze traces over his dim figure. You suddenly feel intense warm shivers run up and down your spine. You turn your face back to Kurama, and see him extremely close to you. You gasp in shock, the warm shivers run frantically through you. Kurama leaps backward, his eyes maintaining the same calm composure, "I felt a chill." Hiei snorts and glares at him, "This is no time to be hopping around the cave like a happy pup." Kurama shakes his head and looks back in your direction, "I am certain that I felt a cold chill run up my spine when I stood over there. I fear it is possible a grim fate has befallen our friend." Hiei looks shocked for a moment, and shakes it off, "It's only expected from such an inexperienced demonsheshehad it coming" Hiei stares painfully at the ground. Kurama reaches out and pats Hiei on the back, "There there, dear friend. I am also certain there is something we may do for her, perhaps Master Genkai would know, and there is Koenma to help." Hiei sighs deeply. He pushes Kurama's hand away and turns around defiantly, "There is absolutely no way in HELL she's dead!" Kurama warns, "You're in denial, Hiei.." Hiei clenches his fists tighter, "Like HELL I'm in denial!! You saw her!! How the FUCK could someone as strong as HER be killed off by the likes of a 2-bit swordsman who can't even hold his damn sword right?!?! How do you answer THAT?! Can you tell me, fox boy?! You always seem to have an answer for everything!! Tell me what you have to say!!" Hiei's words hang in the air like bloodied knives. Light dances dimly over Kurama's pained expression, "HieiII'm-" he searched for the words to say. Hiei- "Don't give me your damn apologies." Kurama looks at the floor for a moment, and lifts his head slowly, "We still must find her body, so it is not used by other demons for their own purposes" A numbing silence falls between them, the light still flickering and bouncing off of their faces and on the walls. Hiei breaks the silence with his voice, now calm and gruff, "fine.. Fine.. Let's go then.." The two of them walk cautiously down the rocky, dripping corridor, Hiei with his hands in his pockets muttering something inaudible to himself and Kurama with his posture erect, and graceful hands cupping the small source of light. ~~ ok, thats it for this chapter! until next time ^.^

You sit back and listen, straining your whole body to pick up on even the faintest sound. You hear footsteps crumbling the dusty crumbs of rock on the ground. The voices float vaguely through the dark cave. They get closer, the echo of their footsteps, and voices dance all around you, gleefully announcing the arrival of a new visitor. The sounds get louder and louder until it fills the abyss with swirling sounds of company. You stand up and look around in the blackness, hoping the ones entering the cave have a flashlight or something for you to spot them by. The echoes bounce off the wall and mingle with one another, making it nearly impossible to determine where the original sound came from. You spin yourself around looking down through the complete darkness hoping to find something. The sounds get louder and more confused, you continue whipping around frantically, the echoes now pounding your head with confusion. The voices materialize to your left. You whip around and face it, spotting a very dim light being held by one of the noise-bringers. The voices sound again, "Are you sure you hear something down HERE?!" you gasp and hold your pounding heart. It's Hiei's voice.

You suddenly pick up on voices. You jolt upright, your eyes closed, to sit back and listen. You recognize the voices as Hiei and Kurama's. You jump up and feel for a wall, your heart pounding in a furious excitement. You hear them get closer and closer, but still can't quite make out what they're saying.
