Around a half an hour later, we pulled up near a wide open space, in the middle of the woods. The truck was parked a few yards away from the camping place, so we had to carry out bags, and stuff. We got there, and there were 3 tents. After struggling to put it up- since no one seemed to know how to do it- we figured out whos sleeping where.
"Why don't we like, separate the boys and girls or something?" Jazmine suggested.
"Why? Are we 8?" Jack asked.
"No. But I don't wanna wake up in the middle of the night, to you and Caitie." She said.
Jack just chuckled.
"Then whats the point of the third tent?" Dane asked. Jack shrugged.
"We can put all our shit in there." He said.
After everyone agreed to the boy-girl-shit thing, we put our sleeping bags in the tent.
"I still think the whole girl-boy thing is retarded." Jack commented. Dane agreed.
"Seriously. We aren't on some school thing." He said.
"Welllll, me and Jimmy will be back. Don't miss us!" Jazmine said, grabbing Jimmys hand and they walked off.
"I have to use the bathroom." Chad said, then walked off aswell.
"Then I guess Caitie and me will spend time before we go to our GENDER TENTS." Jack said, saying the last part loud, and they walked into the boys tent.
Dane laughed, "Whats wrong? You seem... I don't know, scared?" He asked.
I shrugged, sitting on the ground. "I don't know. I've never been camping. Well, besides being 6 feet from a house. And... I guess you can say I watch too many movies." I said, chuckling.
He laughed, and took a spot next to me, "Aww, afraid of a big bad scary person?" He asked.
I rolled my eyes, smiling. "Your mean." I stated.
"N- Yeahh." He said. "Don't worry. Theres a small store like 10 minutes down the road. Plus, we've camped here before."
"Also, you have me to protect you." He said, grinning childishly at me.
I laughed. "Of course." I said. "A face like that will scare anything away." I teased.
"You did not just call me ugly." He said, a smile creeping onto his face.
I shrugged, smiling. "Maybe. Maybe not. Your brain can't register much." I teased, laughing.
"Oh, so now I'm ugly and stupid?" He asked.
"Sweetie, you always have been." I joked, making his eyes widen and mouth drop. I laughed. "Kidding!"
"Yeah, sure." He said.
I laughed behind my hand. Then in one, quick, swift motion, I was laying under him, and he was tickling me everywhere. I mentally smacked my forehead, why did I tell him I was insanely ticklish?
"D-Dane! S-s-stop it!" I said, moving around under his legs, laughing.
"You know what I also am? Persuasive." He said, tickling me still. "Say, 'Dane your the most smartest, hottest, amazingest guy ever'."
I shook my head, causing him to tickling me more.
"Okay, okay!" I said. "Dane, your the most smartest, hottest, amazingest guy I've ever met." Yet he still didn't stop tickling me. "I-I said it!"
"Nope. You said that you've ever met- meaning someone else could be more smarter, hotter, and amazinger then me. Even though we know its not true." He said, tickling me.
"Fine! Dane, your the most smartest, hottest, amazingest guy ever!" I said, giving in.
He smiled, then rolled over beside me, laying down. "See? Was that so hard?" He asked.
"A tad, yeah." I said, panting from the lack of oxygen. Taking a deep breath, I was hoping to catch my breath quicker. And I did. Dane had gotten quiet, so I turned my head, and just saw him staring at me. A faint smile on his face. I knew I probably had grass in my hair, and as soon as I get home, I'll be in the shower, so it made me a tad self-concious.
"W-what?" I asked, wiping my hand on my face, making sure atleast nothing was there.
He grabbed my wrist, "Nothings on your face." He whispered, his face getting closer. So much for being able to breath. "You have really pretty eyes." He commented, though his gaze had lowered to my lips.
"I- t-thankyou." I whispered. His lips had barely touched mine, when-
"Hey, guys! I- Oh, sorry." I quickly scrambled to my feet, and saw Chad. "Um, sorry. I didn't know I was interuppting anything." He apoligized.
"Its fine. You weren't interuppting anything." I assured. Dane was still on the ground, but now sitting, leaning on his arms.
"Guys!" We heard. "We should go swimming." Jazmine said, walking with Jimmy.
"Yeah!" Jack and Caitie said, peeking their heads out of the tent.
"I'm down." Dane agreed.
"Sure." I said.
