you came home later that day, still slightly haunted by what Akito did. your body shivered in fear every now and then, and Yuki was giving you sympathetic looks. Akito gave Shigure an answer. he didn't tell, but anounced it right when you guys got home. "he said it was fine, as long as we get back on december 29th" "oh yes, new years.... we have to get ready for the-" you were stopped in your words. 'banquet...' you thought. 'eating, infront of Akito, talking to Akito, looking at him and him watching me' you screamed in your head. Kyo noticed this and moved towards you, touching your hand slightly. this pulled you out of thought. you nodd yyou head, but then something hit you. "whos doing the dance this year?" you ask. there was a snicker from Kyo. it got louder and louder when he couldnt take it. he left your side and fell over laughing. "lets see, the year of the roster is now. and the year after is.." Yuki said and his eyes widened and filled with tears of laughter. he soon had to support himself on the side of the wall. Shigure held out his hands, "lets see, 2004 was the monkey.... 2005 was the roster- oh no!" You under stood and started laughing histaricaly. "SHIGURE! YOUR DOING THE DANCE THIS YEAR! AH HA HA HA HA HA HA!!! AH HA HA HA HE HA HA AHHHHH!" you laugh. Yuki calms down, giggling every now and then. but Kyo and you were on the floor, laughing. Yuki noticed how close together you two are. you about 3 inches away from his face. "what are you going to dance shigure? the macarina? tango? oh no! or mabey THE CHICKEN DANCE!" you burst out, calming down. you opened your teary eyes to find Kyo staring at you, a shade of red crawling over his face. you return the blush and smile. he takes a hand and moves a piece of hair from your eyes. "ah hem" shigure fake coughed and you two snapped out of gaze and sat up. "yeah, im danceing this year" shigure stated. you, kyo, and yuki hold back giggles and Tohru just chuckles lightly. Shugure made his 'i dont wana' face and returned to the trip to California. "anyway, its november 26th right? we should pay for our tickets" Yuki sugested before Shigure could speak. "well, yes. but Hari is helping us on that one" you eyes widen. "what? no! he cant pay for that by himself. can he?" you ask in concern. 'wow, torus niceness got to me...' you think. shigure smiles. "well, akito is paying, hari's just making sure he doesn't do anything weird." Shiguew tells them. you just remeber something. "bring your swimsuits" "WHAT" the whole room asked you. "yeah, theres a hot tub there. itll be nice if we could all go in" you sugest and everyone is scilent. Tohru speaks up. "wow, what a great idea! i can wear the bathing suit Hana and Uo bought me ^_^" she exclaimed and threw her arms around your neack. "someones exited" you saw to the group and they agree. Tohru let go and you dragged yourself out to the tv room and floped over the couch. (you sat on the top part you leabn your back on and you fell over) you laid there, finding the remote on the floor and you start fliping threw chanels. you find some cartoon and star watching it. "hey, its tom and jerry.... kinda reminds me of Yui and Kyo" you say to yourself. you feel a figure plop next to you. you turn your head to see Kyo, laying there. (he entered the sane way you did) you laid there looking at him, faced away form the T.V and into kyos amber eyes.

.:Kyos POV:. I herd a sweet melody comeing from the hallway. i peeked outside the door and herd it, not in the hallway, but from ______'s room! i creeped out of my room and leaned an ear by the door. it was her voice. her voice. theost magificent voice i've herd. i closed my eyes, enjoying her singing. when she stoped i herd a sigh. i tried to look threw the paper door to see what she was doing. i saw a faint outline of her, as she laid on her bed. she looked so peacful, laying there. silence grew threw the room and I herd heavy brething. she drifted to sleep. i opened the door and looked down at her. what i saw made my heart beat faster. her body was laid on her side, midlength hair cascading down her shoulder. her bangs created shadows over her eyes, and her hand hung over the bed. i grabed the chair by her desk and i sat myself down, staring at her peacful, motionless body. 'shes lightened up alot. before she was a wise ass that didn't want anything to do with you, but shes changed.... Tohru changed her.' he thought about what you said before. 'its time for change' Kyo took your dangling hand and stroked it with his thumb, closing his eyes into sleep. 'yes.. its time for.... change'

you giggled lightly as his breath tickles your nose. he touches his nose and smiles. 'shes so... beautiful when she smiles' he thought and he brushed his fingers over you hair. your eyes gaze upon his, lost in a transe. you felt someone tickle your side. you start laughing and you wiggle and twist on the couch. you look to see whos hands are on your side, tickling you. "Kyo! stop! ah ha ha ha ha s-s-stop p-please! hehaheha!" kyo didnt stop. he continued to tickle you until you twisted so your back was against his stomach. you lean your head on his arm and he uses the other to stroke you hair. (the others are watching you from behind the corner, lol) kyo breaths in your scent that fills his nose. he closed his eyes and nuzzled his face in our hair. you snuggled close to him. 'what am i doing? why do i enjoy this?' your face turns bright red and your heart beats faster. Kyo notices the heart beating faster and his face turns a light shade of red. you hear a clatter and you got so startled, that you fliped of the couch. you looked up and saw Yuki, laying there on the ground, a sheepish grin upn his face. "o wasn't watching if thats what you think!" he said in a hurry and he got himself up quickly and skidded his way in the kitchen. you blushed up a storm and you ran upstairs, leaving a staring Kyo on the couch. 'that damn rat! wait til i get my hands on that baka! i FINALY get close enough to her and THIS happens? i think im moving to fast though, she may not even like me' Kyo sighed, and walked upstairs. In you room, you sat on your bed, your thoughts carried you away. 'why did i... why did i like what her was doing. is he trying to hurt me, like a pratical joke? dose he... no no no. he can't. he's not that kind of person. ill have to keep an eye on him' you sat there in the dim light, disliking the scilence that droned you in your room. you took a deep breath and you started to sing...

.:Yukis POV:. i was walking threw the halls and i decided to cheak on _____, seeing that i made her flustered when i interupted her and Kyo's "moment" i was just looking out for her, like an older brother, taking over Haris job because he didnt live with up. I walked in, seeing kyo, sitting on a chair while grasping her hand, both asleep. i wlaked over swiftly and flicked Kyo in the Ear, Kyos cat ears shot out of his head like rockets. "what the hell?" he wispered, immediately remebering your asleep. "you stupid cat, im over here" i said softly, so as not to wake _____. "what the hell do you want NOW? you ruin 2 moment in one day, what can you POSSIBLY want with SOMEONE whos TRYING to let some one know he CARES?!?" Yuki sighed. "Kyo.." kyo gasped. the fact that called him by his first name startled him. "i have to tell you...."
