The Return of Lord Voldemort [Chapter 5]
This took way too long. I'm sorry. It's also way to short. I promise, if you guys like this one, my next one will be much better.Unfortunately though, when Lily arrived to Charms, Marcus was in anything but a good mood. He looked positively miserable, which only brought Lily down further. "What's wrong Marc?" Lily asked. "Today just is a bad first day." "What happened?" "Ellie broke up with me for starters." He groaned. "Then when I told Thomas, he didn't even care, he told me to be a man and get over it." "So..." Lily urged him to go on. "So, we got into a huge fight and..erm.. I called him a prat and stomped away." Lily groaned just like Marcus, only in her head. What good was coming back to school when your two best friends had already managed to get into a fight within the first few hours. And when your only other really good friend has mysteriously stopped talking. "Well I'm sorry about Ellie, but honestly Marcy, she was no good anyway." Lily began, attempting to be sympathetic but at the same time quite angry with Marcus. "I mean, for one thing, she wouldn't even look at me. She acted as if I was going to snog you around the corner at any moment. And to be quit honest with you, she was never nice to Tommy, which was probably why he was so unsympathetic." Marcus scowled at her. "Lily, you're not helping at all. You sound just like Tom." "Well, what do you want me to say Marcus? You only dated her for like three months." "Nevermind, Lily, let's just pay attention to charms." Flitwick had been doing a demonstration the entire time and neither Lily nor Marcus had paid one bit of attention. To make matters worse, Thomas wasn't even there to tell them what he had said. Thomas would have been listening attentively. "Alright, so lets get to it! The spell is silencio." Flitwick clapped his hands and handed out one squaking, small bird to each of the students. "Er.. what are we supposed to do?" Marcus whispered to Lily, his anger subsiding." "My guess would be that Silencio means to make something silent. So that's probably what we are doing?" She hoped to Merlin she was right because she needed good grades in Charms. This was her best class. Thankfully though, at the end of the class, Lily had successfully silenced her bird and had won ten points for Gryffindor, considering she was amongst the first in her class to do it. Apart from earning her house ten points, she also was amongst the few to recieve no homework for the night, which was to practice silencing things. Unfortunately, Marcus looked irate, considering he had only managed to make his bird squack louder and turn a violent shade of blue. As Lily was walking towards the Great Hall to get lunch, she was pulled underneath the stairs by a pale hand. She was turned in front of a pointed face that was distorted with panic and fear. "Lily, I messed up. Lily I'm so sorry."
