You aren't sure if 'Lord Sesshomaru' is someone you really want to meet. Something gives you a bad feeling about him and you can't help hesitating before you decide to turn around and face him. On the other hand though, if he could be aquainted and obviously respected by someone as sweet as Rin, how bad could he really be? You stand up and wipe your skirt free of grass and dirt, still your back towards him. You take a deep breath, and are about to turn, when you feel a hand wrap around your arm and jerkily spin you around.
You stare up into a familiar pair of eyes - golden eyes. You gasp as you realize who Lord Sesshomaru really is! You look up at him with a smile on your face, and he stares back at you coldly, holding none of the warmth that you might have expected from someone who'd taken the time to save your life.
At the moment, all your knight in shining armour managed to do was frighten you. You look up at him and his emotionless face, your body only inches away from his. You still know that he is the perfect male specimen, and break out in a cold sweat from being so near to him.
" What are doing here?" he says in a flat tone that still manages to terrify you.
" I was only playing with Rin, and please, if you don't mind, you're hurting me."
You try to pull away your arm but he only tightens his grip.
" You're making no sense, human. Don't lie to me!"
[Who does this guy think he is??] you think bitterly.
" Why would I be lying to you?? Just let go of me!" you scream.
He doesn't reply to that, and only stares at you. An empty stare that you can't quite make out. The grip that he has on your arm was beginning to be really painful, and you twinge a little from the pain. You see a flicker of difference in his expressionless face, looking almost like compassion, and you feel his grip loosen a little. You can't help it; you give him a small smile and feel your face get hot. You know that you're probably blushing like a mad woman.
Completely shocked and confused, you feel him pull you closer to him, so that your body's are now touching. You can't bring yourself to breathe anymore, this man...no, this demon, and you are having some sort of moment.
[Can he actually be...attracted to me?]
Then without warning; his eyes become cold once more, and his emotionless expression is more pronounced than ever. You're a little hurt and confused, and are about to say something, when his grip becomes extremely tight again as he sends you hurling to the ground. You're whole body is aching from the fall, and you stare up at him only to see that he's unfazed and staring at you as plainly as ever.
" ______!" Rin screams and runs over to you. " Lord Sesshomaru, why did you hurt her?"
You watch as Sesshomaru turns around as quick as a whip and starts to walk away.
" You..you BASTARD!!!" you scream after him. " YOU'RE NOTHING BUT A COWARDLY BASTARD AND A FILTHY DEMON!!!"
Rin suddenly looks very frightened and your about to force yourself to get up when you feel a hand wrap around your neck, pushing your face into the dirt and grass.
" You ungrateful wench! Don't you EVER speak to me that way unless you want to end up dead. Do you hear me??"
Not knowing how you can answer him when your face is being pushed into the ground, you struggle to get up again. He lets you go and you quickly stand up, scared that he might try that same trick again.
" YES, I hear you loud and clear, my LORD. God forbid that I ever question your fucking authority, oh great one. Please allow me to bow to you and kiss your FUCKING shoe!" you scream.
You spit at his feet, feeling more angry that you've ever felt in your life. You know that he'll kill you, but you feel such hatred towards him that can't help yourself. Rin's hands fly up to her mouth in shock. She looks at you with pleading eyes to stop, probably knowing just as well as you do that you've sealed your own fate.
Oh sh**....he's going to kill me.. (Me: Well...if you don't SHUT UP..then yes, he will)
His eyes slightly narrow, and you know that he's angry. You rub the back of your neck where he'd touched you, and unconsiously start backing away from him. But with great speed his hand is covering your neck and your feet are no longer touching the ground. [Why is it always the neck?!] you think furiously.
" Get...the FUCK..OFF me!!!" you yell with burning rage clear in your voice.
Sesshomaru says nothing as you gasp for air, his grip only getting tighter. Then suddenly, everything starts to look faded, as you feel yourself fall to the ground, and slip into darkness.
When you open your eyes again, you find Rin staring at you looking very concerned. It was dark, and you knew that you must of been out for at least 5 hours.
" Rin...?" you whisper.
Her face brightens when she hears your voice.
" Rin...what happened?" you manage to say through your weakness.
She stares at you, a look on her face that you can't quite decode.
" Well...after...after Lord Sesshomaru did that terrible thing to you...it was strange...because....." she trails off.
You stare at her, urging her to continue.
" Well as strange as it sounds, he lifted you up in his arms and leaned you against this tree, then he told Jaken -"
"Jaken?"
" Yes, he goes where ever my Lord goes..and even plays with me sometimes. But he's not very nice..."
You clear your throat and say in a stronger voice, " Alright, so what did Sesshomaru tell Jaken?"
Rin looks very nervous, obviously scared of how you'll react.
" Well he told Jaken that there will be someone joining us..to serve him...as...as a sort of slave," she finishes, looking up at you expectantly.
You're eyes widen at the thought of serving a wretched demon like Sesshomaru. The anger still left over from earlier starts to resurface as your delicate hands clentch into fists. You stand up, feeling very light headed, and reach out for Rin's hand.
" Come on, Rin. We're getting out of here. I'm not serving some stuck up, mentally challenged demon, and I'm sure as hell not leaving YOU to his cruel hand," you tell her.
She shakes her head and a small smile appears on her face.
" Lord Sesshomaru would never hurt me. He protects me. I'm safer with him than I've ever been."
You scoff at this, finding it exceedingly hard to believe.
" I'm sorry, but I can't find it in my heart to leave you here," you say.
You take her hand, and pull her up.
" ______, even if we do run away, he'll find us easily. And you'll be hurt again."
Her eyes were pools of sorrow and bad memories. [Then it's up to me. I'm going to protect this girl even if it costs me my life, and if it means being a slave to that monster, then so be it.]
" Alright, Rin. I'm staying. But so help me God, if that beast lays a finger on you even once, I'm leaving and taking you with me."
She smiles confidently and says, " Then we'll be with Lord Sesshomaru for always and always."

You wait in the darkness for Sesshomaru to come back. You hadn't seen him since you blacked out, and even as much as you hate him, your still a little curious. If he hated you so much, why did he save your life? And what was that moment that you two had? Had you imagined it?
[No..how can that be? He clearly pulled me towards him...there was a moment when he was almost...sweet.]you think.
But of coarse, all that was cancelled out by what he'd done to you afterwards. And how he'd made you his slave.
Rin was sleeping, her head resting on your lap as you sat leaning against the same tree with your legs spread out in front of you. You were also a little curious of Jaken. Was he as handsome as Sesshomaru? [If that's even possible..]
Suddenly you feel a presence next you to, and turn your head to see a figure standing tall in the darkness. His silver hair blowing in the wind. Sesshomaru stares down at you and you look up at him. He then stoops down and carefully removes Rin from the ground and your lap, and into his arms. You watch him walk over to a tree across from the one you're sitting at. He sits down gracefully, putting the fluffy stuff he keeps on his shoulder on the ground, and Rin on top of it.
[Yeah...she'd be more comfortable there I guess..] you think to yourself.
Everything seems peaceful, and it's shocking to you. You barely even feel uncomfortable as he sits and watches you. The sound of his voice comes up very sudden.
" Who are you?" he asks you slowely and calmly.
You hadn't noticed before, but he had the most beautiful voice; masculin, smooth, clear and precise.
" I know for a fact that Rin has said my name in your presence, but if you must be reminded, it's ______," you say.
You stare at him, expecting some sort of threat.
" No, I know your name, girl. Maybe I should be wiser to ask what you are and where you came from," he replies calmly.
[What I am? Has he not called me human before?]
" Well I'm human as you can plainly see, and I can tell you one thing : this place sure isn't my home."
He looks at you quizzicly.
" Oh?" He subtely raises an eyebrow.
You quickly respond, " Yes...and it isn't even my world to be more exact. I need to get back to my real home."
He simply stares at you.
" You sit on that rock every night, and are able to repell all and any demons. Yet you yourself are chained to it, until you simply disappear. You are not a preistess and you are not a demon. A human cannot have this much power. So I ask again; what are you? "
[ Yes...what am I...] you think with sadness.
You look over at Sesshomaru...you can't understand why he would actually care.
" Do not perceive my questioning the wrong way," he says after seeing the look on your face. " I do not care about you or the reasons for your actions, unless they clash with the demands I give you as my slave. It's simply curiousity.
" You look down at your feet, not even caring how rude he was being. You just wanted to go home.
" Well if you really don't care then I'd prefer not having to explain myself." Sesshomaru says nothing, and you're kind of relieved. You don't want to have to tell him that you yourself do not understand what's happening to you...or why. You close your eyes even though you don't feel the least bit sleepy, and when you open them again, Sesshomaru is nearly an inch away from your face, his eyes still empty and his expression still blank. Your heart starts to beat rapidly at the thought of him hurting you again.
But instead, he kisses you. A kiss that makes you forget your home, your bitterness, and any harsh feelings towards him.
Rest in results!
[No...It's wrong..HE'S A FILTHY DEMON!] you think to yourself.
You begin to stand up slowly, Sesshomaru rising with you, the kiss never breaking as he takes hold of your wrists with both hands and pins them against the tree. He presses you up against it, deepening the kiss. His tongue had been inserted into your mouth and you play with it softly, massaging it against yours. He then releases one of your arms from the tree and slides his free hand along your thighs as he lifts your legs up to wrap themselves around his waist. You moan softly as he caresses you, and you run the hand that had been released through his long, soft hair.
[Why?!] you cry inwardly. [Why is he doing this?!]
You slowly pull away from him, though your body aches to hold on. You're shaky and your knees feel weak, but you step away from him all the same.
" What...what is this?! Why are you doing this?!?!" you scream.
You fall to the ground and begin to cry. When you look up again to see Sesshomaru's reaction, you instead see only an empty clearing.
Sesshomaru's gone and so is Rin.
