.NET CMS - For A More Robust Web Site

Created by ektronnashua1 on Wednesday, August 12, 2009

.NET is truly a better (in my opinion) system that supports varied programming languages such as C#, ASP.NET, VB.NET, for example. Unlike the PHP system, .NET has a price, but that cost buys you wonderful support from Microsoft. It provides wonderful help documentation, and lots of professional on and offline support ( though this also carries a price ) to sort out any issues. Also, since it is a complete framework in itself, it is used for lots more high end programs and applications above and beyond the 'simple' site. This is why a .NET content management system should be your choice if you are looking into content management systems and are determined to have some major functionality included in your website.
much more peace of mind.
SEO plays an important role in the success of web site deployments, and CMS400.NET brings advanced URL aliasing to the table. The more readable web addresses that v7.6 auto-generates drives more returns for your website's pages by Google, Yahoo and MSN. Taking advantage of CMS400.NET's taxonomy, the new URL aliasing is able to auto-create site aliases that are not only easier to read, but are also much more relevant with names that are based off of the taxonomic structure (or folder structure).
The taxonomy directory control also provides built-in navigation. No longer does the content author need to worry about how a site visitor is going to navigate to the page. Just add the content to any category, and the directory control does the rest by providing a hierarchical navigation structure. In addition, taxonomy can limit the scope of a search by maximizing the amount of relevant information returned.
