You lie on your bed thinking of that year.You picked up a Photo of you and your friends, On your left, you had Tom And Joe, Your really old friends, Holly and Sarah were on your right.And Nick and Daniel, your newest friends, putting bunny ears on Tom and Joe.They always acted like three year olds.You put the photo down and looked around your room sleepily.You had plastered every inch of wall with Yu-Gi-Oh! Pictures.Mainly of Seto Kaiba and Rex Raptor.You didn't know why, you just found their arrogant attitudes cute.You suddenly hear a crash in the back room.You whirl around and run to the back room.
"Who's There?"You say quietly "Show Yourself!"
Suddenly a blinding light engulfed you.You rubbed your eyes and shook your head.The light started to fade.Slowly you found yourself alone on a sidewalk in broad daylight.You stared skywards.You could see a tall skyscraper with the initials KC on it.
"KC?"You said in awe "But that can't be, that means Kaiba Corp,but thats from Yu-Gi-Oh!"You stared up at it wide eyed "It's supposed to be makebelieve!"
"What are you yelling about?"A heard a voice say
You turned around in suprise to find yourself face to face with none other than...
Yea I remember that.....Except it wasn't in Italic....
Well I didn't read the last quiz but thanks anyway
It was Rex Raptor
"What are going on about?"He said again raising an eyebrow
You couldn't find your voice, you seemed to have lost the ability to speak.You finally closed your eyes and said with great difficulty
"Nothing, just talking to myself"You muttered
Rex looked at you crossing his arms.
"Whats your name?"He said
Again, you tried to find your words.You had a feeling you'd better use a fake name.
"My name is...Reika"You said looking around again.You appeared to be in battle city, there were people here and there duelling.
"You want something?"You asked Rex
Rex nodded and pointed to your arm.You looked down to see a Duel disc.You didn't own one in reality because they were just plastic play things.Obviously here they were for real.
"Your a Duellist, I'm a Duellist, You catch my drift?"Rex said smirking.
You blink, you had owned cards at home, but you rarely duelled.You thought of somthing to say back.
"Yeah, i know what your thinking but I'm really not sure"You said looking sideways, "I'm not that good.."
Rex smiled, you felt weird, you had all the Yu-Gi-Oh! Merchandise at home, DVDs, Pictures, cards, video games, and of course you had joined every fan-listing on the web, but you felt weird, you were talking to an anime character.And he was talking back!
"I might help you if you duel with me"Rex said smirking.
You gave it some thought, you had four options
1.Duel Rex,win or lose, but get help from him either way.
2.Decline, get lost in Battle City until Some Rare Hunter finds you.
3.Run away, find some alley way and cry.
4.Do absoloutly nothing, and hope that your dreaming.
Of course you had picked No.1, as you wanted help.
"Deal"You said "But ahhh..."
You looked down at the duel disc
"How does this thing work?"You said shaking your arm
An anime sweat drop ran down Rex's face.
"You really are hopeless"Rex said shaking his head "Usually I wouldn't give a damn about people like you, but as your kinda cute..."
He gave you a smirk and showed you how the Duel disc worked.It took you round about fifteen minute until finally you realised how it worked.
"Okay!Now lets duel!"Rex yelled
"Bring It!"You yelled back
FIFTEEN MINUTES LATER
"Damn It!"You yelled flopping down onto the ground "I lost!"
Rex walked up to you
"I'll give you two options"He said smirking
You looked up at him
"And they are?"You asked blinking
"You can give me your Locater Card OR you have to follow me round for the rest of the Tournament"
You checked the pockets of the clothes you were wearing.You couldn't find any locator card anywhere.
"As you don't have a Locator card that leaves you with the one option"Rex said smiling.
You sadly got up and sighed.You had really wanted to explore Battle City, but knowing you, you probably would have gotten lost.
"Alright, Alright"You said "I'll come"
Rex gave a small laugh
"Good, I've always wanted a cheerleader"He said smiling
Your mouth dropped
"CHEERLEADER!"You said shocked "YOU DIDNT SAY I HAD TO BE YOUR-"
"Originally I would have taken your locator card, making me one step closer to the finals," Rex said smiling "but as you don't have one you have to follow me around and be my cheerleader"
You closed your mouth, you had no where to go anyway.What were you going to do if he let you go?
"Alright, whatever"You said angrilly
You followed Rex around for most of the day.You didn't say much, you just had to yell "Go Rex" From the sidelines.For the rest of the time you were thinking about what was going on.It wasn't a dream because you had already pinched your arm red, and you weren't hallucinating because everything was so clear.
"I wonder how Holly's going.."You thought to yourself.
"Hey Reika!"Rex said, snapping you back to reality "C'mon, I promised Weevil I'd meet him at Three o'clock"
You got up and stretched.
"Why?"You asked yawning "Are you two friends or somthin'"
Rex shook his head
"No Way!We're more rivals than anything, I'm going to duel him"
You roll your eyes.
"Thats a suprise"You said scathingly
Rex gave a small laugh
"Your funny you know that?"He said smiling
You smiled, he wasn't as nasty as he was on the T.V show as they made him out to be, but still...
"Um, while your duelling Weevil can go look around Battle City?"You asked "'Cause I have been following you around most of today"
Rex thought for a moment
"Alright, you can look around Battle City for the rest of the Tournament, but when the tournament is finished come find me okay, we still have a deal"
You nodd and quickly run off.
'When I get home I am so telling the producers they're wrong'You thought to yourself, "Rex isn't mean at all, he's just pushy"
You suddenly ran into someone head on.
"Watch where your goin'"They said
"Sorry I was just"You looked up.
It was Joey
"Joey?Joey Wheeler?"You said dumbstruck
Joey smiled proudly
"Dats Me!"He said happily
'Okay, this is weird'You thought to yourself ' First I'm talking to Rex Raptor, now Joey Wheeler?This is weird'
"Need a hand?"Joey asks holding out his hand
You blink and take his hand and stand up.
"Thanks"You said blushing
"Hey Joey!"A familiar voice called out, "Who are you talking to?"
You turn to see....
