::Night:: [A Hidan Love Story] ::Ch.9- Recoveries::

School's almost starting already. I haven't gotten ANYTHING done this summer! I need to finish this story before school starts!

Death felt so peaceful. No pain, no worries. But I felt…empty. That’s when I saw Him. Hidan. I never told him how much I appreciated him. He gave me my life back. And, sure, we had some ups and, a lot, of downs but he always excited me.

When we first kissed each other I felt whole. I loved him. That immortal bastard.

“Leader wishes to see you.” A monotone voice said. It belonged to Itachi Uchiha.

“Yeah, yeah.” I rolled my eyes as I set my work down.

As I got up Itachi placed a rough hand on my shoulder, making me stagger for a split second. I set a venomous glare at the man.

“Fix the attitude. He’s not in a good mood.” Itachi warned.

“Screw off Uchiha.” I spat. I sure wasn’t in a good mood either.

Man, I hated being stuck with this ass wipe. But it was better than…. I couldn’t even say his name. That bastard.

I opened the double doors to see the leader standing there in his hologram form. Jeesh, doesn’t he ever show up in person for this shit?

“Pein-Sama.” I greeted him while kneeling, despite my hateful thoughts that had run through my mind earlier.

“Misa,” His ringed eyes looked down at me.”It seems as if your problems with Orochimaru have gotten worse.” He pointed out.

I looked down and nodded in shame. That snake got the better of me. Damn it.

“Yes Pein-Sama.” I agreed.

That snake, Orochimaru, has violated me in many ways and it has only gotten worse in the past couple of weeks.

“Misa you have to leave Akatsuki.” Pein cut to the chase.

“What?” I demanded. I was taken aback by this.

“You are to leave Akatsuki forever. You won’t remember a thing.” He assured me.

“Pein-Sama I don’t understand.” I frowned. This wasn’t good. This wasn’t good at all.

“If you stay it will only get worse. I am doing this for your sake.” He reminded me.

Well how generous of him.

“Where will I go?” I asked.

“You will go to Konoha. You will be safe there for Orochimaru is not wanted.”

I looked down. That bastard was kicking me out. Did I just become another useless tool. No. That can’t be it.

“I will erase all of your memories of Akatsuki and Orochimaru and I will send you next thing tomorrow morning with a clean slate. Nobody will know who you are, or what you have done for that matter.” He said.

“Thank you, Pein-Sama. Thanks for having me.” I said, not so nicely. This was all bull shit.

“I enjoyed your service.” He said, ignoring the tone in my voice.

The next thing I knew I was left alone in the dark room and he was gone.

“Mi--!”

“—isa!”

I frowned. The pain was back. What kind of bull shit death was this?! It felt like hell! I wish I would just die already.

“Misa!” Somebody called my name.

I slowly opened my eyes to look up at the ceiling of a brightly lit room. I slowly blinked to clear the blur and let my eye sight adjust.

“Misa? Are you awake?” A voice asked.

“H-Hidan?” I stuttered, slowly turning my head to have my maroon orbs meet dark lavender ones.

“Misa! You are awake!” Hidan hugged me.

I looked at my surroundings more carefully now.

“Where am I?” I asked.

“Hospital. You’ve been out for a couple days.” Hidan said while crossing his arms in an unhappy manner.

“Three days?” I blinked as I tried to move my head but winced at the pain.

Hidan brushed his lips against my neck.

“Don’t move much.” He ordered.

“What happened to--?” I couldn’t say his name and Hidan noticed that.

“We got ‘em good.” He smirked cockily.

I looked back up at the ceiling.

“I remember everything…” I muttered and looked around the room to make sure there was nobody watching.

“I was once part of Akatsuki.” I met Hidan’s eyes again.

Shock and confusion took over his expression as his eyebrows raised.

“You were in Akatsuki? Are you sure? Nobody knew about it.” He said.

“The only people who know were Konan, Pein, Orochimaru, Kisame and Itachi.” I said.

“The leader never told us—“

“Because he erased all my memories, making me think he kicked me out under punishment of some sort. He sent me here to make me start off somewhere completely opposite from Amegakure.” I explained. I had, literally, had my memories beaten back into me.

There were many emotions flickering across Hidan’s face and I couldn’t catch any of them. That’s when he quickly looked back to me again.

“We’ll talk about this later. Your morphine is here,” He said. “I’ll be here waiting for you.” His voice was a whisper before I lost my consciousness again.
