“…Wake up…” I hear a feminine voice call out to me.

I opened my eyes groggily and clumsily arise from my bed. I was met by Bulma’s sweet smile, “Finally, you’re awake. You have a letter from the Harvest King. Read it.” She passed letter towards me.

I silently began to read the letter:

Hello, this is the Harvest King.

The Harvest Goddess and the Harvest Sprites were punished because you didn’t work.

They’ve been sent away to another world.

If you work hard and achieve your goals, I will return them to this world.

Do you understand?

Two Harvest Sprites are the Harvest Sprite Station and Guts at Harvest Sprite, INC are still in this world, so they should be able to help you with what you started.

Well, do your best.

“It’s going to be lonely now that I have no one to argue with.” Bulma thought, “Anyway, work very hard. I’m counting on you.” She encouraged as she used her witch powers to disappear from my cabin. Man I wished she’d stop doing that.

I sighed in aggravation, “Great, now I have to save the Harvest Goddess and the Harvest Sprites just for takin’ a nap!”

“YOU WILL DO IT! NOW GET OFF YOUR LAZY BUM AND START WORKING!”

Yikes! That must be the Harvest King! Better do as he says! I rush out of my cabin.

Once I rush out of the door I bump into somebody.

“Oof!” He landed on his butt.

“Oops… Sorry about that!” I offered my hand towards him.

He took my hand, “Thank you! You must be Chicori. I’m King Kai; I’m the mayor of Orange Town. I’m in charge of the shipments in this valley. The guy who was in charge of the farm shipments in Saiya Valley (the valley I’m residing in) moved away yesterday. So we had a meeting to choose a temporary replacement… And, well, I lost the rock, paper, scissors match… So here I am…” He frowned, “I could understand if it was Orange Town but why Saiya Valley…? I knew should’ve gone with scissors. Drat!”

“Uh… Okay…” I said a bit unsure.

“Oh…” He laughed, “Sorry was I just talking to myself. Don’t mind me. Anyway, I’ll be handling your shipments, so I thought I’ll just come by to say hello.”

“Well, I don’t think I really have much to ship at the moment…” I admitted.

“Oh, are you sure you wouldn’t mind having a nice farm in Orange Town?” He laughed.

I glared at him.

He sweat-dropped, “No, no, I was just kidding. I know you’re just getting started. Err… Sorry, I didn’t mean to offend.”

Ha, yeah right… I rolled my eyes.

King Kai sweat-dropped, “A-anyway… I’ll show you how to ship things. Come this way please.”

I follow him towards the shed; he stands in front of a large box.

“Well, if you want to ship things just toss the thing in here!” He laughed.

I gave him a weird look, How’s that funny?

“Well, I’ll pick up whatever’s in this box everyday at 5PM, after that money will be added to your account. I don’t collect on holidays though… After all I have a life too you know! Anyway I’m starting today so I’ll be back to pick up your shipment at 5PM.” He said walked off.

I shrugged, “Time to work!"
