I Woke Up Next To A Half-Naked Bad Boy in School [10] And He Suddenly Made Me His Personal Slave?!
Samantha was dragged away by the crowd of fashion-hungry girls to a boutique which hosted a sale when she stood warily, staring at the couple from afar. She pushed her way out of the store, but found herself lost. She eventually met a guy in a coffee shop while Brandon was having a nice chat with a friend of his.Stock Clearance Sale.
Sample Sale.
Sale. Sale. S-A-L-E.
Those words were like drugs to female species around the world. No, wait, not drugs. Laughing gas. Looking back, it was almost laughable.
Well, not really.
A store across from me had the sacred word printed on orange, yellow and green paper. There was even a wooden sign for it.
I must be in luck that day since it was starting at...5, 4, 3, 2--
"LOOK!"
"OMIGODIDON'TBELIEVEIT!!"
To make a very long, embarrassing story short...while I was standing still, staring at Brandon's gleeful expression...I didn't notice a crowd was increasing around me.
And as if someone opened the floodgates, water came rushing in; but instead of water, there were girls. It was a brutal stampede, I swear to god! Not less than 6 seconds later, I was engulfed by the crowd and was pushed towards the entrance.
Gosh, girls could be so barbaric when it comes to shopping.
"Let go!"
"I saw this first! You let go!"
And suddenly the brunette literally punched the other girl...with the handbag. She got away with an evil laugh echoing throughout the store.
Mmm...oh yes, fine. I made up the last part.
Around me, people were taking off their clothes and trying new ones since there were no fitting room. I soon realized that I need to get out of the...the zoo.
But when I did, Brandon was nowhere to be seen.

I waited outside and the sky was already getting dark. I could swear that I felt a raindrop falling down on my hand earlier. My head was heavy and my heart was thumping loudly. I didn't have money on me at the moment, I didn't even have any credit cards.
How was I going to go back to The Ritz-Carlton? I don't even know where I was! Biting my lip, I curled into a little ball on the bench.
I knew it. I was going to be homeless. I could feel it flowing in my veins.
Or was that fear?
Punching the wooden bench, I got up and started walking aimlessly around the hustle and bustle of the city. Okay, I could do this.
Probably.
Stop it! Think positive.
Oh my god, my head was going to get gnawed by a wild bear any minute now. I...was not really sure if there was a loose bear in town, but it could happen!
I hated myself. I never should've gone out with that bastard. Somewhere, deep down in my heart, I knew he would pull off something like this. Damn, why couldn't make a smart decision in my life? Like in history papers, I failed in life horribly too.
I meant, what good did I ever achieved?
Well, I tried to save this cat once from a tree...but then I realized that it didn't want to be saved as its' claws sank into my skin.
My eyes wandered up towards the sky. It was getting really dark. I made a detour and went into a small, cute little coffee shop.
A waitress gave me a sweeping glance before striding towards me when the rain started to fall lightly. "Can I help you Miss?" she asked briskly.
...Oh my god, this 'little cute' coffee shop was not one of those shop those kick people out because they didn't order anything right?
Right; I just had to jinx myself.
My smile was frozen and stiff that it hurt. "Not...um, not right now, thanks."
"I'm afraid that if you don't have anything to order, I'm going to ask you to leave," she said, her voice was loud enough for people around me to watch curiously.
Feeling heat creeping up my cheeks, I put on a confident look and answered, "Well, this place sucks anyway."
Not exactly mature...but why the hell did I care? I was left stranded in the middle of this goddamn city and--
"She's with me," a tall boy said. He was probably a year older than me with broad shoulders, messy blond hair and dark brown eyes. He was tanned, and I must say he was quite attractive.
But the last thing I wanted to do was give him a once-over.
He slid the chair across from me and sat down.
"Hi," he said, grinning after he ordered two hot chocolate. I didn't reply. I just stared at him as if he was politely asking me for my virginity.
As if he knew what I was thinking, he replied with a chuckle and said, "I got kicked out of a store once; not a nice feeling."
"You did?" I said before I could stop myself. "Why?"
The corner of his mouth twitched into a playful smile. "Let's just say I was having fun with some girl inside the fitting room. Oh and sorry, I haven't mention who I was yet. I'm Jake. Jake Compton."

"You're going tonight aren't you?" Evelyn asked politely, sipping her iced lemon tea. "To the dinner party thing? Oh you simply must!" she said, sighing. "It won't be fun without you."
Brandon chuckled and picked up his cup of coffee. "Of course I am. I need to take a few days away from Detroit anyway. It's been crazy for the past few weeks."
"I've heard. That's a lot of money you guys lost," Evelyn replied sympathetically. "I hope it works out well for Compton's."
"A glitch. Not to worry about it." Brandon said, but he failed to convince himself that it was just a small glitch. "We just need a few more clients to back us up, that's all."
Evelyn nodded, staring at the empty space beside Brandon's head.
"Meanwhile, I hate public schools."
Evelyn threw her head back and laughed. "If you drop out of the school now, Brandon, that means you're dropping out of the bet too."
A couple of months ago, Evelyn talked about how she would never ever step her foot inside any disgusting high school in her life. Brandon opposed, saying that it couldn't be that bad and he always thought how it would feel like if he went to a public school instead of being home-schooled. They ended up betting.
Both of them were silent for a while, drinking their beverages when Brandon remembered something. "Hey, I forgot to introduce you to someone. Eve, this is--"
His eyes were clearer, focusing on the surroundings more sharply and his mind was thinking more reasonably.
The colors on his face drained away when he finally noticed that Samantha was nowhere to be seen.
