opposites attract.. [gaara story] part 12

gaara's pov
You watch as miyoko pulls out a big bowl and spoon and starts by putting some flour and other flour looking stuff in, then cracking some eggs into it. "okay, now you stir ! " she says and hands you the spoon."uh, maybe you should " you say and hold the spoon out to her. " oh no you dont , your learning how to cook , even if we're here all day." she says while sliding the bowl towards you . You stick the spoon into the mix and begin to stir it slowly, nothing was happening. you look over to miyoko and she simply states " faster" you nodd and use one hand to hold onto the bowl and start to mix at the same speed as before , getting faster , soon you were mixing it at full speed and the batter was flying everywhere violently. "SLOWER!!! " you hear miyoko scream from bside you. You stop and look over at miyoko.You smile inwardly at it, she was covered in random splotches of batter. Then you see her giggle and say, " your covered in batter" . You should've already assumed that you had batter on you too." yea, well you should look in the mirror" you say back to her smirking. You were shocked by yourown remark, althought not showing it. It certainly wasnt like you at all. " yeayea, just finish mixing it, only NOT as fast as before." you continue was your doing as she pourssome buttermilk into the mix along with some salt and butter. You couldnt quite get the butter to mix into it so miyoko takes over as she tells you to turn the oven on, which you had troublee with too , but eventually figured it out on your own so that miyoko didnt think of you as stupid. You look back over at her and see her pouring the batter into the pan , she was humming a happy tune as she usually does when doing house work. She was the only thing that mattered now, you had never cared what ppl thought of you until her, other ppl could think of you as a demon as much as they wanted, but you thinkk you would die if she ever thought of you like that. She walks toward you with the pan giving you a warm smile. You open up the oven for her as she places the pan in and you shut it. She dusts off her hands and looks at you ," okay , so now for the toppings ! ^-^" She walks over to the fridge and pulls out some strawberries , and walks back over to the counter, you following close behind. You and her both chop up the strawberries and bananas as you wait for the waffles to be ready. You continue as miyoko sets the table, you were surprised how long it took , it was almost an hour now, and the rest of them would be up soon. You wished that they would get called away on a mission for a couple of days so you and miyoko could be alone. It was always better like that. And now you definatly wanted kankuro gone. One thing was certain, he would NEVER get to be alone with miyoko ever again. The waffles were done and you guys were doing the last things to get them ready, you were ahving such a good time that you had completely forgotten about the frilly apron you were wearing.
no ones pov.
Temari and kankuro both walked out of their rooms at the same time " good morning " kankuro says. " dont even talk to me !" temari says and continues to walk toward the kitchen. It was too early int he morning and kankuro didnt feel like argruing. Not only that but he knew what he did was wrong. They get to the kitchen and aare shocked at the scene infront of them. There was batter all over the walls and ceiling, things spilt on the counter, along with things on the floor. But the most shocking thing was gaara: In a pink and white frilly apron. Their mouths were gaping open and they were finally noticed by gaara. Who quickly stripped the apron off and crossed his arms looking angrily at both of them, then focusing a absolutely deadly glare on kankuro. Kankuro was frozen in his place he couldnt even look away. Then miyoko pops out of no where and hollers " breakfaaast! ~~" and places the plates on the table , as everyone sits down accept her of course.
miyokos pov
You watch as everyone sits down and then make the announcment. " okay everyone i hope you like the waffles gaara-sama made !~" everyone looked at gaara in disbeleif as you continue " and as for the mess... you guys have to clean it yourselves.^-^ " temari and kankuro's mouths drop open in shock. and then kankuro states, obviously without thinking " gaara made the mess , he should clean it ! " and immediatly regrets saying it from the glare he was getting. " ill leave that to be decided by you guys, but today is my day off so it deffinatly willnot be me , and if you leave it for me to clean tomorrow after its caked on and i have to use all of my strength to scrub it off, i will march right into the kazekage's office and tell him i quit." You say in a matter-a-factly way with a finger in the air. Everyone nodds understandingly and you say goodbye and that you would be home by midnight, which gets a look from gaara as if to warn you not to be late, you smiled at him assuringly then wave as you go up to your room to change then leave the house to go to the kazekage's office
