The Sony BDP-S360 is an offering that I am fairly impressed with. However, just like any other product, it has its pros and cons. I've done my best here to outline exactly what the BDP-S360 is offering, being as unbiased as possible.
Pros
Price. This thing is priced incredibly aggressively as compared to other Blu Ray Players in its class Crystal clear picture. In fact, by using the HDMI output you can watch both Blu-ray and DVD in 1080P Video outputs are available for those of us with older HDTV setups A killer multichannel audio output system (HDMI) Both optical and coaxial audio is available, unlike the typical Blu-ray disc player set up of only optical output 24P True Cinema Output makes your movies really "pop". I don't use it much, but you can use the BD-Live technology to get cool stuff like deleted scenes and play games.
Cons
There is no eject button on the stock remote control. Of course, you can use a universal controller but I'm not a bit fan of having to buy more stuff after I dropped $XXX on a Blu-ray player. Disc load times can be a bit sluggish. This is especially true for disks with elaborate menus, like those stuffed with special features. Can't use streaming web. Not a good thing if you're like me and LOVE Netflix. No WiFi. The next model, Sony BDP-S560, does have it. But of course, that model cost more money.
In conclusion, the Sony BDP-S360 Review is another great product, and one of the best players to enter the Blu-ray market. You’ll absolutely love the picture quality, and the audio is impressively good. Of course, it was the price that what got me to bite originally, but it's the features that kept me around. So, should you pick one up? The choice is yours. But hasn’t disappointed very money, and I doubt that you will.
