I can’t get you out of my head…

“…Is unavailable right now. If you would like to leave a message, ple--…”

He gritted his teeth, biting back the urge to vent his frustration through crying out vulgar uncouth language in the middle of the street.

“Where is that tiny mousy girl anyway?!” He cursed in annoyance, his mouth sank grimly and his eyebrows furrowed crossly.

He hadn’t seen her at all for the past four days. It was like she had up and left without saying a word to him. Or maybe she didn’t trust him enough to tell him something so important.

Theme #15 – Look Alike

Song Inspiration: Calling the World – Rooney

“Eh? Ryo-chan lost Yukari? Why don’t you go down to the animal pound and see if she’s there?” The female voice suggested from the other line.

Ryoga’s facial expression darkened considerably, he already called the majority of the contacts on his cell phone and no one knew where the hell his girlfriend ran off to! It was like she disappeared from the face of the planet!

He snapped abruptly, “I’m serious, do you know where she is or not, Kajina.”

“Sheesh, lighten up Ryo-chan,” Ryoga could picture his blue haired underclassman pouting her lips, “I was kidding~ Besides, why not wait until she calls you back?”

Ryoga growled, clutching onto his cell phone rather tightly in hand, “Don’t you think I’ve tried…”

“Hmm…” Kajina muttered in thought.

He waited for a few more seconds before breaking the silence, “Well?”

“….”

“It’s either yes or…” His eyes widened in disbelief.

“Never mind, I’ll talk to you later.” Ryoga uttered into the phone quickly and pressed the end conversation button on his communication device.

“Hey…Ryoga--! Don’t hang up on---…”

He ran forward, ignoring the scorning and strange looks each and every passerby sent him. His heartbeat thudding heavily in his ears and his senses just seemed to solely focus on her figure.

He hadn’t even apologized or gave any second thought as he bumped into the citizens whom were minding their own business. The sounds of the cars blurring out and all he could really hear was her voice in his head.

Strawberry blonde tresses hanging down the side of her back in a low ponytail, her clothes were light shades and hung loosely on her frame. A white collared button up shirt graced her torso; she wore long black tights and a pair of red flats, matching her huge bag hanging off her left shoulder.

Her backside was provoking him to quicken his pace in the packed road. He slowed to a jog once she and everyone else halted at a corner, remaining still until the pedestrian light flashed green again.

He pushed through the obstacles in front of him; nothing meant more to him than just to catch her attention. The people around him didn’t matter; his family and friends didn’t seem to matter or even tennis at that moment.

Turn around and look at me.

That’s all he wanted. He wanted her.

“Yukari,” Ryoga began and brought an arm on her shoulder.

The light turned green and she turned around.

But, it wasn’t her.

“Ah, sorry, I thought you were someone I knew.” Ryoga apologized and watched as the girl who looked like his Yukari follow the current of busy populace.

Kajina exhaled noisily as she flipped close her cell phone; she looked over at the figure sitting on the ground, her hands around her legs and her head resting upon her knees.

“You sure you want to leave him hanging like this?” Kajina sank down beside the girl.

Yukari slowly nodded, looking over and smiled lightly at Kajina.

“I don’t want to see him, just yet.”

…You’re everywhere and everyone.

To be continued.
