My first challenge was to change the venue actually. The Plaza was so grand...so not me. I didn't know why they made such a big fuss out of it last night. You know, they had a saying for this.

...Err, wait...do they have a saying for a bride stuck in the middle of bridal war between her fiance's mother, her fiance's ex-girlfriend/friend who tried to sabotage his company?

No...I doubt it's 'great mind think alike'.

"Here we are, miss," grunted the cabbie. I paid him and got out. It was still a little bit too cold outside, and I was having a slight fever today too. Slight. But no matter then, I need to give Angela my presents, bade congratulations at her...talk to her about her wedding plans and whether she might want to reschedule or something.

Then I would run out of the building and go to the food testing for Linda and Paul's wedding. Around 4 o'clock, I have to get my ass to The Ritz and check on the bride-to-be. She was a businesswoman...and might I add, she was a hot-tempered woman.

Sometimes, I didn't know why men would marry someone like that so much. But I guess, it was one of nature's wonder. Love could be confusing at times, but wonderfully amazing too. I grinned ecstatically as I pushed her room's door open. Her mother called me earlier this morning to tell me that the baby was fine and healthy, even though it was premature.

"What do you mean it's probably not mine?!" Angela's fiance, Gary yelled. God, why did I enter the right place at the very wrong time? "Keyword, probably!" Angela said, shrugging innocently. They didn't even notice I was in the room.

Flustered, I cleared my throat. Angela's face instantly brightens up. "Sammy, daaaaarrlliiing! Oh look sweetheart, she bought a teddy bear!"

"Don't you sweetheart me!" Gary roared. "Is that thing mine or not?!"

Thing?!

My eyes went over to the baby who was next to her mother, looking dazed and confused. They were fighting in front of a new-born? Unbelievable!

"Er, look guys--"

"I had an affair! THERE! I've said it!" Angela yelled frustratedly, her hands were in her hair. "WITH WHO?!"

"...A mailman."

"That's it, I'm taking a DNA test straight away! I can't believe you, you fucking whore--"

"GUYS!" I yelled after I recovered from my shock. "There's a baby in this room, can't you guys at least stop fighting?" I hissed, looking sympatethically over to the baby who looked as if he could cry. "There's a newborn, a new life in this room and what on earth do you care?"

I tied the strings of the balloons to the door handle and put the teddy bear beside that hospital crib thing. My phone was ringing a horrible tune anyway. Keeping in mind that I must change my ringtone as soon as possible, I answered it whilst walking out of Angela's hospital room.

"Evelyn here," the familiar voice squeaked. "Meet me at The Plaza's lobby. You have to see the ballroom it is stunning!"

"I would love to Evelyn, but I'm quite busy right now--"

"So you wouldn't mind if we book it right now? Without you even seeing it?"

"What? No! I've told you I don't want a wedding at The Plaza!" I argued, punching the 'G' button on the elevator. She suddenly laughed. What the hell did I said from last night that seems so funny to them?!

"Oh you and your sense of humor, Samantha."

"I'm not kidding! Cancel it! Give it to someone more deserving! I just want a wedding with my closest friends and colleagues, and I'm sure Brandon wants the same thing too," I explained. "Just...please change the venue. I can't deal with this right now! TAXI!"

Why was it so hard to hail a cab here?!

"And I've sent the invitations and everything. I'm going to have it in a beach near--"

"Who cares about some goddamn beach?!" Evelyn snapped. For a moment there I was utterly speechless as she rambled on about how dangerous a beach was and what if it rained outside and it was the PLAZA.

I swear if I hear another word about The Plaza I would strangle myself.

"We have a wedding to arrange for a very short time, Sammy. I thought you're a better wedding planner than that! If you'd just come here, you would change your mind. I know you would!"

"I am a good wedding planner!" I seethed before I could stop myself. "Since you have a tight schedule today, let's say we go cake hunting aroound....10 maybe? I'll text you the info. I have to deal with this idiots right now," she said and hung up.

Shortly after, my phone bleeps. And I ignored the message as I got into a cab.

Actually, I ignored it AND called Brandon. But his secretary was the one answering me and he was still in a meeting. Compton Industries' was extremely busy this week since they tried to score a deal with some huge client.

I tossed my phone back in my handbag, sighing. "Where to?"

I was about to say The Ritz, Central Park...but I ended up blurting, "The Plaza, and step on it."
