Fran never understood what your purpose in the Varia could be.
He knew he himself had the job of an illusionist -- creating distraction and confusion -- but he had no idea what someone as useless as you could return to the Varia, except a nice hug every once in a while when Belphegor had bullied him a little too much. So when the whole gang went beserk over your disappearance, which was not the first, he wondered what you did that was so important that even his loud mouthed commander got bent out of shape over. Watching the crew scramble around the base, he stopped a displeased prince, a worried expression morphing his half hidden face.
" Sempai, why is Kali so important ? "
" What do you mean, you're annoying; standing here, doing nothing . "
Fran frowned, crossing his arm oer his chest, " I mean, if I went missing everyone would probably forget and hire a new illusionist; one that doesn't possess half of my attitude probably."
Belphegor chuckled, ignoring Fran's last line, " True, one uncute kohai can't compare to the Queen."
Furrowing his brow, the younger boy opened his mouth to interview his Sempai again, only to be interupted by Squalo's loud battle cry, said silver headed man shouting order to everyone in the hall, including Belphegor and Fran. Fran moved not a muscle though Belphegor quickly scamprered off like the rodent he was. " Hey, Commander," whined the boy, " you should know about Kali, why does Sempai call her the Queen ? "
Squalo, unamused, sneered at Fran's inquiry, pointing his sword at the young illusionist, " That girl," he growled, clenching his real hand angrily, " That peacock fag would know about that, right now I have to save my ass from that drunk moron."
" Boss would not appreciate that, Commander," Fran murmured, watching the aforementioned swordman run off. " So Luss may know ..."
" I won't bother him."
"Hey, what is that," flinching, Fran turned to face his flamboyant comrade, " You bothered Bel and Squ, but you don't think to ask me ? "
Throwing a hand on his hip, Lussuria scolded the younger male, " I'm the first one you should ask about Kali," he huffed, flipping his bright green-red hair, " she stole my status after all."
Fran rose a questioning brow, " Status ? "
" As Boss' wife ! "
" Oh ..."

Lussuria began to vent, " A powerful man like that definitely need more than a lazy, fragile girl like her ! "
Fran held up a hand, shaking his head, " I don't want to know what Boss could need you for."

Xanxus frowned, " You didn't tell Squalo you'd be out with me today, did you, woman ? "
You quickly molded your expression to one riddled with confusion, looking up at an unamused Xanxus, " Why would you ask that ..."
He growled, placing his hand around your shoulder, " You're grinning nonstop," he frowned, " I know only harrassing Squalo does that to you."
You beamed, laughing lightly as you rubbed the back of your head in an ashamed manner, " It escaped me that I should've told him," you touched the man's cheek softly with your mouth, smiling abashedly , " Xanxus is all I was thinking about at the time."
Xanxus' smirk would have been threatening to anyone else, but to you it was heavenly, " Damn straight."
