Feeding your worms is not simply done for the sake of doing it. There are things that should be taking into considerations with regard to this. Red wiggler composting worms can consume food as much as their body mass, this was according to researches. It is important that you don’t give your composting worms too much food because it fatalistic on their part. It would just be fine if you give them little quantity of food but giving them too much is not allowable.
You should also know the foods that these worms are allowed to eat. It is very vital on your part to know these because you are the in charge in handling and treating these composting worms. Foods that contains insecticide or pesticide even if it is vegetable should not be given to the worms. Foods that can invite insect are also not allowable.
Just for additional information, the method of composting speeds up if you already sliced the necessary materials into small bits like that of the kitchen left over and fruit peelings. If you don’t have it, you can also make use of the grass trimmings instead of throwing them. Also eggshell can be used inn this kind of composting

Importance of temperature in the process


To complete this worm composting procedure, you need to know that temperature is very important. Exposing your worm bins against the sunlight or rain is not advisable. Keep them in temperature level of 40-90%. You can also do the indoor or outdoor activities as long as you can manage it.
