“Eh? I never suspected you’d be the superstitious type, little miss flat chest.” He smirked behind my shoulder and grabbed the chic teen magazine out of her hands.
She turned and attempted to snatch the colourful book away from Ryoga but he resisted, “Just give it back already, you stupid pervert!”
“Hmm,” Ryoga flipped back to the fortune horoscope page Yukari was reading and looked back down at her to see a green tie wrapped around her neck, “I see you’re wearing your lucky colour today, little miss flat chest.
Yukari flushed brightly, “Just shut up Echizen!”

He continued to pursue the issue, “So I’m also guessing that you also avoid black cats and badgers too?”
Yukari huffed and ignored the sea green haired youth walking beside her. God, she wished he would just shut up about it already! What was wrong with her being superstitious anyway?
“Oh, look it’s a funeral hearse.” Ryoga joked and looked out from the corner of his eye to see his girlfriend stiffen.
But something was wrong with the way she had stopped walking. She had dropped her book bag where it cluttered as it fell. Her hands were tightly gripped around her shoulders and her head bent downward.
Ryoga turned to look at her and reached out a hand, “Hey, you alr---“
“DON’T TOUCH ME!” She yelled, passing the crowds at the yellow cross lights and ran into the street. Her hands covered her eyes and her figure looked so fragile in his eyes at that moment.
A white truck drove down the road and he saw her dart out right in front of the moving vehicle.
“Shit!” Ryoga reacted on impulse and bolted onto the street. His legs pushed him to move farther, to get him to contact her in time.
His breathing was erratic like his heart hammering his chest loudly. His irises dilated in fear.
“DAMN IT! GET OUT OF THE WAY YUKARI!”
...My heart remembers it now.
