“Loser takes guard duties for a week, agree?” She arched an eyebrow expertly, her grip on the silver kunai tightening.
Itachi gazed at her lazily, and nodded.
“Alright, let's do this!” She cried out dramatically. He looked at her, amused.
“You should get some lessons in Etiquette,” he drawled, putting away his bloodied katana.
“Shut up, you ready for this?” She snarled, throwing her kunai away, and readied herself in a martial arts stance.
“Chill, Senko,” he smiled, moving to an even more relaxed pose.
“Alright...” She took a deep breath, “ro, sham, bo!”
The two teenagers threw their hands down.
“Yatta! I win!” She smiled in triumph. Itachi was holding out a 'ro', while she was holding out a 'sham'. “You take guard duties for a week, Itachi!” She grinned, hopping around like a mad rabbit. Finally she had beaten the infamous Uchiha Itachi. Although, a bit ironically, in such a childish game.
“No, I win, you silly,” he smirked. Senko turned around, annoyed.
“What do you mean you win? I'm holding out a 'sham' while you're holding out a 'ro'! So I win!”
“My 'ro' has sharp edges, Senko,” and just to prove his point, he stuck his thumb and little finger out, “this means I can cut through your 'sham'. I win, Senko, you take guard duties for a week. See you in a week, Senko.”
And he just disppeared like that.
Senko stared at the spot where he stood for a very long time, before she let out a low growl.
“Damn you, Itachi!”
And her shout echoed through the entire forest, scaring away some innocent birds.
Him and his twisted reasonings, but that's one thing she likes about him too.
She sighed, kicked a rock, and made her way to the guard post. Another long week of guard duties, she moaned internally.
