We walked back in the house exactly at one am and I was worn out. I was carrying my heels in my hands and Max was carrying me on his back. He let me down and I looked at him "I'm going to go change" he nods and I walk up to my room and open the door and jump seeing Jack and Casey watching Tv in my room. "You guys?" "Oh your mom said we could sleep over" I sighed "Jack go down with Max I'm about to change" he sighs and gets up closing the door behind him. "So what happened are you Mrs.Davis?" Casey asks and I sighed laying on my bed. "No" I mutter. "what happened?" I sit up.

"I couldn't bring myself to say it the moment was too perfect."

"Too perfect?" she asks and I stand up so she can un zip my dress and she pulls it down and I step out of it and grab pjamas out of my closet. "He had balcony set up with candles and everything we danced for at least an hour." I said slipping on a shirt. "Oh wow that's so sweet" she says sighing. "So was he confessing how he felt?" I shrugged "I'm to tired to speak" I admit and curl up in my bed. "Well get your rest because were going to The Spot tomorrow" I groaned "more dancing" I said pulling up my hair. "Oh you know you want to dance with Max more." I look at her "Yeah but that dancing is at a teen club and not exactly slow dancing." I said and she laughs "Oh whatever I'm gonna hang downstairs for a while you get some rest. I nod and she shuts off the light and close the door about ten minutes later I hear someone come in and I see Max. "Move over" he oders dorzy andI sigh and scoot over. "What happened to your room?"

"Jack stole it."

"Where is Casey?" he sighs "Passed out on the couch" he says pullling the blankets and I sighed "Alright just don't steal all the cover please." he pulls me close to him "I won't if you don't move" he says and I groan "Whatever just go to bed." I said and close my eyes again.



I wake up sun shining and seeing Max at the other end of my bed and shivering. I gasped seeing he had no shirt on and I stole all the cover. I got up and pulled it over him and went into my closet to get my outfit. I then hop in the shower and I look down still seeing the bruises on my some and I lean against the wall but then gasp at how cold it is and it triggers my memory and all I see is a tall dark figure in front of my and they touch my head and I forget everything after that. I open my eyes scared and I look to see the mirror across from me crack and fall down.

"Hey what's going on in there?" Max asks.

I grab a towel and wrap it around me and turn off the water. "Emma are you okay in there?" he asks more worried. "Yeah Max I'm fine" I said and worked my way around the glass and opened the door and see him right there and he scares me for some reason and I fall back but he catches me. "Be careful!" he shouts and my whole face was red because Max's hand was well really close to where it shouldn't be but I could see he didn't notice. He then sat me on my feet "You get changed and I'll clean this up." he says closing the door behind him I look around for my clothes and quickly changed before he came back out.


I then walk downstairs and see Casey in my kitchen eating ceral with Jack. "What happened to Max last night?" Casey asks. "We shared my bed." they both look at me weird. "Oh you act like we never had before." I said and sat next to Casey on my island.

"What are we doing today?"

"I told you last night were going to The Spot." I groaned "Oh yeah" I said "What's wrong?" they asks and I shake my head "Nothing to worry about." I said and got up walking to my couch and laying down on it.

"What's wrong with you?"

I look up seeing Max. "Headache" I admit. He lifts up my legs and sits on the couch and then sits my legs in his lap. "Did you have fun last night?" he asks and I smile "Yeah but did you see these rules for me?" I asked reach for them on the table. "I have to go with you every time you go out of town. Every month I have to test your blood control and I have to learn how to defend myself if my vampire cannot. It also says we cannot influence y ou to want blood we cannot use our vampires as weapons for revenge and if we are not intimate partners with our vampire we are the only ones thhey can see during there one month mating time."


I give him a weird look "That's only when they're older then eighteen I don't have a mating time" I nod and sit it down and close my eyes. "Remeber those dream I use tohave? The one that felt like lost memories and I would always draw them." he nods "Well I was in the shower and I leaaned against the wall and saw one of those memries again and when I opened my eyes the mirror broke."

"Your a weirdo you know that." he says.

"And this is coming from the vampire that's a nerd." he glares at me and I smiled "Your a nerd don't deny it Max." I said and he rolledhis eyes. I sat up and looked through the kitchen. "Do you really want to go to the spot tonight?" I asked "Feet still hurt?" I nod he smiles "I can get you out of it." he tells me and I smiled "Thanks Max" I said and he smiles and I look down. Maybe I could tell him now.

"Max I have to tell you something.."

I sit up and he looks at me "yeah what's up?" he asks I look down nervous and holds my hands nervously. "Em are you alright?" I look up at him and then smile "Yeah umm its nothing Max never mind" I said getting off the couch embarassed. "Emma you know I know when its soemthing wrong." I shake my head "Nope just wanted to know...its nothing." I said heading to the stairs but I felt him grab my arm and turn me and I fall back. I see his eyes flash green and he sits me on the stairs. "I...I have to go" he says almost embarassed. He takes his jacket and runs out of the house slamming the door behind him. "My life is so weird." I said gettin gup and going upstairs.


"Max no! Don't make me go to school!" I beg.

"Its Friday and its only until 11 and then we can go hang out I promise!" he says pulling me out of his car. "I don't care I hate this place!" I said and he picked me up and swung me over his shoulder. "Don't be such a baby" he says and I huff "Fine put me down then" I said as we walk in and I swear it was like everyone was staring at him. They knew it was Max but didn't want to believe it, this was going to be a fun day.

"Seven girls! Seven girls gave me there number today can you believe it!"

I sighed as Max and Cato talked about first day of school Max clearly is the new hottie of school and girls are just throwing themselves at him and yes I admit I have been jealous all day.

"So which ones are you going to call?"

I rolled my eyes as we got out of Max's car. "I don't even know these girls." he says taking the numbers out. "what do you think Em?" he asks me and I look at them. "I think you should trash them." I admit and walk into my house. "Oooh someone's jealous!" Cato teases and I glare at him. "Jealous?" Max asks. "Oh I'm just messing with Emma." he says smiling and I throw my back pack on the ground and I see my mom in the kitchen. "Well there is one number I do want to call" Max says and I freeze.

"Becca Smith." he says and I clench my fist. "Are you telling me the hottest senior gave you her number!" Cato shouts and I take in a deep breath and go to the stairs. "Emma where are you going?" Max asks. I turned back to him "Why don't you go call all your fans now I'm not feeling good." I said going in my room and slamming the door. I was afraid this would happen and I'm more so angry that the evil witch called Becca is intrested in Max. I hugged my pillow as I sat on my bed and stared out of the window.
