"This is stupid, i do have legs, and I can walk" I said as we got to the hospital only to have Sam carry me inside.

"And have the risk of you running off and getting yourself in trouble, no thanks" he said dropping me on the ground in front of the hospital doors.

"At least you wouldn’t have to put up with me" i frowned at him.

"She has a point" Paul said.

"I will break your face" i said turning to frown at him.

"And ill break your other arm" he said frowning back.

"Im not scared of you Paul" i told him as i stood back up and walked into the hospital.

"Whatever" he growled as he stood on Sam’s other side.

"Whatever" I said mocking him. I felt him reach over and poke my arm. I let out a painful scream.

"PAUL STOP" Sam said pushing him into Jacob.

"Don’t you think you’ve done enough damage" Darcy said growling loudly.

"Can you lot please be quiet" a nurse looking lady said.

"Yeah Paul shut up" I said frowning.

"Yeah shut up Ace" he said looking back at me with a matching expression.

"Both of you shut it" Sam growled at both of us

"My pleasure" i mumbled.

"The doctor will see you three in about 5 mins" the nurse said

"good then i can get out of here" i said. I hated hospitals.

"Ace, Paul and Jacob this way" a blonde tall doctor said walking into the waiting room.

"wow your tall" I said as Jacob, Paul and I followed the doctor.

"and a vampire" Jacob whispered into my ear

"oh that explains his beauty" I said nodding my head slowly. I heard Paul growl from the other side of Jacob. We followed the doctor into a room where he closed the door behind us.

"So what happened" he asked ignoring the deep growling from Paul. I hit Paul and frowned at him.

"Fight" i told the doctor simply.

"I know what you are" Paul said.

"Im not hiding anything" the doctor said.

"Neither are we" i said hitting Paul again.

"So are you healing by yourselves or is it a bit more complex this time" He said looking at Paul/

"I wouldn’t know, I’ve only been one of them for a week" i told him

"So your the new one my son was talking about" he said looking at me

"son...oh right Cullen" i said biting my lip.

"Yes Edward" he laughed

"yea i met him once, when i first started school, wasn’t quite a wolf then" i said.

"he could still sense it" the Dr laughed. "Okay Ace well im Dr Carlisle Cullen the vampire" he said whispering the end bit.

"Im Ace the new one of the pack" i said shaking his hand, I didn’t understand the rivalry, and Dr Cullen seemed quite nice. "I don’t know why you don’t get along with them, they’re nice, apart from Edward who’s a stuck up jerk just like Paul but we wont go there" i said looking at Jacob as Carlisle went to grab something.

"It’s a wolf versus vampire thing, they aren’t too bad unless they break the treaty" Jacob said.

"Is it like underworld, werewolves were the guard dogs to the vampires" i asked confused.

"Are you calling us dogs" Paul growled

"Do you think Id call myself a dog" i said rolling my eyes. "Have you ever seen the underworld movies" i added asking them.

"Nope" they said together.

"You guys are sad, we are having a movie night and we are going to watch the Underworld movies and Van Helsing" i said as Dr. Cullen walked back over to us with a young looking nurse.

"This is Nurse Katie Deline, my partner" Carlisle said introducing the nurse to us.

"Partner as in partner in crime or partner as in partner for life" I asked.

"Partner for life" Carlisle laughed.

"What about Esme" Jacob asked him.

"She was killed" Carlisle told him.

"BY WHO?" he asked shocked.

"another vampire" he said shortly.

"im sorry" i said looking at him sympathetically.

“it’s ok” he said giving me a small smile.

“well if it helps I found out what I am through a vampire” I said.

“who?” he asked.

“some evil looking, blond that looks about sixteen” I told him. “but Paul played the hero and killed her” I added.

"yea, hero, that’s me all over" i heard Paul say proudly.

"that’s the only heroic thing you’ve done" i said bitterly.

"shut up" he scoffed.

"Okay well Jacob your cuts aren’t too bad now but well have to bandage them up" Carlisle said checking Jacob over. "Ace your shoulder is broken in two places so you’ll have to rest it up for a while, which means no phasing" Carlisle said touching my shoulder.
"good luck with that" i heard Paul say.

"Paul get out your not worth the trouble your not even that hurt" Jacob said pushing him towards the door where Sam was standing
"sorry, Paul and I don’t get along very well" I said apologizing to Carlisle and Katie.
"that’s okay" Carlisle laughed as Paul had an argument with Sam outside.
"what are they arguing about now" I said as Jacob got bandaged up. "proberly you like always" Jacob laughed. "I should just leave, your pack has turned to mush since i arrived" i sighed. "No you can’t leave, we will miss you Darcy certainly will" Jacob said looking at me

"I wont then, Darcy needs another girl other than Leah around" I said. I had met Leah two days after i phased, i thought she was a little stuck up but that was only my opinion.

"Yeah she can’t always stick up for herself" Jacob sighed.

"she has you five boys to compete with and she also needs the girly company, since Leah isn’t much help" I said. Once everything was sorted it was time to get home.

"Please no fighting with Paul" Jacob said after we said goodbye to Carlisle and Katie.

"I can’t promise anything" I said. Jacob was a distant relative but he was like the brother i always wanted.

"Well for my sake and for the packs please be nice" he said sighing as we got back to the house

"I will try" i sighed. I walked into my room so Jacob could explain what happened to poppa.
