The Email
They finished carving pumpkins, Amity teased Luke, "Why does it look like it got hit in the face with a shovel?" She laughed, as they placed them outside her house. "He gets it from his mother, Amity I think her name was." Luke joked, placing his on the steps, turning it just right. Grady propped his in a plastic chair near Amity's garage door, and Erin kept her's near the drive way. "Alright guys, awesome work! Now it's time to go inside and have some candy." Amity splurged, running inside, with the others right behind her. "Oh, lemme just check my email real quick!" Amity crooned, running down the hallway and into her room. She sat down on the chair, spinning around slightly as she clicked away. Her eyes then lit up like a bonfire as her eyes scanned the new email she recieved from an unknown sender. She then called to her friends, "Guys!! Get in here!! You gotta see this!" They entered her room, stepping over her little halloween gizmos and scanned the email. Luke tried looking over Erin and Grady but to no success he squealed, "Aw, come on! Can someone at least read the damn thing!?" Amity groaned, "Alright, alright." She then continued, "At the top of the graveyard, on the street of Maple and Carve, there awaits wishes to be granted, by a man colored tar." Luke shivered, "Sounds creepy, man. So why are you showing us this again? Depriving us of candy!" Amity shook her head, "Duuuh, so we can get wishes! Didn't you hear the email?" Luke yawned, "So you're gonna go to a graveyard on Halloween expecting some kind of wish?" Amity nodded. Grady greveied, "Well, we're coming too then, we can't have you out there alone. Being stupid." Amity beckoned, "Yaaay! It'll be so much fun! You'll see.~" Erin hesitated, "Erm, who send you that email anyway?" Amity scrolled up and down, "Dunno, must be the person handing out wishes." Luke stood there flabergasted, "Do you really think some jerk wads gonna give out 'wishes'. It's probably some pedo looking for some dumb kid. Point and cause, Amity." Amity interjected, "Luke, is anyone coming over to your place tonight?" Raising an eyebrow, Luke shook his head. Amity cracked her knuckles, "Good, 'cause my fist wants to meet your ass real soon." Luke cowered away, "Whatever, I'll come, but I'm bringing protection!" Grady rolled his eyes, "Yeah, a clown with a pocket knife, wonderful." Erin chimed in, "He'll be a killer clown! It'll be way more scarier than just a clown." So they all had some candy, shared a few laughs, but little did they know it was to be their last.
