Pocket Watch

Chapter 1
New Day
Tori heard a little girl singing. She was in the middle of a forest. "Where am I?" she asked herself frantically.

The Alarm clock rings. Tori wakes up and looks at the clock" Oh no, I am going to be so late and it is the first day!!!" Tori screamed. Tori ran down the stairs, grabbed her toast and put in her mouth. "Mom, why didn't you wake me up? I’m going to be so late!" she whined. "Honey, I did wake you up about five times." Her mother replied. Tori ran out the door. "See ya mom. See ya dad. See you after school." Tori said before shutting the front door. She ran out of the door with toast hanging from her mouth. "My name is Tori, I’m 15, and I’m a second year in high school. I thought everything was perfect, but one thing. I can’t remember what happened before I was nine. Also, what was with that dream? It’s one of the weirdest yet." Tori said as she ran. She fixed her long, illustrious blue hair. She got a hair tie out of her pocket and put her hair up. Her hair was like a cloudless sky, solid coloring, light blue, and the length was to her waist.
Tori got onto the street, Cherry Blossom Road. All along the road you could see cherry blossoms blooming. "I love the spring. It’s so beautiful; too bad it’s almost over." Tori got to the school gates and the bell rang. Tori yelled as she ran, "Oh no. I’m not going to make it!" Tori got to her class room right before the last bell rang. "Safe!" Tori slowly walked to her desk and sat down in it. One of Tori's friends came over. "Hey Tori, you were almost late for the first day of the school year. Did you sleep in again?" Her friend asked. "Shut up, Mina. You know me more than ever." Tori moaned. Mina sat down in the seat in front of Tori and says, "There, it is all right." Mina smiles at her and then the teacher comes in.
The teacher looked like he was about 25 maybe a little older. The man said, "Hello class. I will be your teacher. My name is, Kenji Hayashi." The man had brown hair short but a little longer than normal men do. Tori raised her hand and called for Kenji, "Sensei." Kenji looked over at her and looked at a paper to get her name, "Uh, yes Ms. Mina…?" Everyone in the classroom laughed. Tori smiled and said, "No, it’s Tori, Sensei." Kenji blushed and said, "Yes, Tori, I knew that. What is it?" Tori replied, "How old are you? You look very young." Kenji smiled and said, "I am 25." The whole class started to talk in amazement. After all her classes the bell rang. Kenji shut his book with a smile on his face. "Alright class. Have a nice day and see you tomorrow." Kenji walked out with a big smile on his face.
Tori packed up and said, "See ya Mina." Mina waved back and said, "See ya tomorrow. Also…" She emphasized this, "Do not be late!" Tori blushed, "Ok, I’ll try." Tori walked out and started to walk home. She walked past a forest and saw something far inside the forest. It shined brightly. "What is that?" Tori looked and try to find it. She walked into the forest and looked in the grass. "Where is it?" Something glittered in her eye. "Ow, I found it." She picked up a golden pocket watch. "Did someone lose this?" Tori looked at it and saw that the watch was still working. She looked at the sky. "It's starting to get late. I got to get home or I will miss dinner!" Tori ran home and sat at the table.
