glucosamine are natural and its working is much different from NSAIDs or COX 2 drugs. These are the kind of drugs that came much later than NSAIDs or COX 2 drugs that had various side-effects which when taken so as to reduce pain of arthritis caused severe effects such as stomach bleeding to the breaking down of the lower digestive tract to liver failure.

Glucosamine is responsible for building and maintaining of the cartilages, tendons and other connective tissues in the body by its action as a building block for these materials while inhibiting enzymes that destroy cartilage. It is very much needed in the body as if its deficiency can lead to arthritis whose most common form is osteoarthritis in the human body. This condition that is affecting millions of people around the world is characterized by a breakdown of the “shock absorbers” of the joints, generally the weight bearing ones such as the hip or knee joints.

It helps by prevention of the cartilage destruction, joint pain, swelling and loss of flexibility in a very natural way without any severe harmful side effects that were always there with NSAIDs or COX-2 drugs.Another point to note is that it is much cheaper than other kinds of drugs and is generally derived from natural sources. The best feature of glucosamine is that once your pain is relieved it goes on to work so as to prevent further damage relieve your pain and contrasted to NSAIDs they do never causes any worse such as breaking down your joints which is something true in cases of using NSAIDs.
