"Dude You Fucking Moron!"
Acey yelled throwing his graduation cap at Joey.
Me, Melissa, and Our Best Friends in the Whole Wide World, Acey and Joey all finally put an end to our journey's at East High School.
Even though we all hated the place we somehow found ourselves still there, sitting on top of Acey's car as the sun was went down.
Still all in our Red and Black silk cap and gowns.
"You did not fucking get laid by Kelly Shults!" Acey said.
"You're full of shit!"
"Oh yes I did! " Joey said getting pissed.
Acey kept on laughing.
"God you weren't there, so just shut up!"
"I know im glad i wasnt." Acey said wipping the tears off of his face.
"But your mom was!" Joey said going into histerics.
Acey stoped laughing and looked at Joey with such a cold stare.
Then all of a sudden he lunged at Joey, knocking them both off of the car onto the ground.
"You take that back you fucking midget!" Acey said pulling Joey's hair.
"AHH!......FUCK! Then agree with me that I fucked Kelly Shults!" he yelled wide eyed
Melissa and I just sat there laughing our ass off.
"Ah good times........good times." I giggled
"Ah well boys we better get going."
They both stoped, got up and brushed themselves off.
"But....but.....Why?" Joey asked sticking his bottom lip out with Acey.
"Look we have somthing very improtant to tell you." Melissa said serious.
Joey and Acey's face dropped
"Um.....okay what is it?" Joey said sitting on the ground and we followed.
"Ok well here it is......I know neither of you will agree on it, but we got to....we're sorry.." I explained in tears.
Joey came up to me and gave me a hug and a kiss on the cheek.
"You can tell us." he said his eyes getting watery.
"Were leaving..." Melissa said puting her head in her hands.
Their mouths droped
"Like just a few hours right?" Acey said with alittle hope in his eyes.
"No Hun, out of the state." I stated
"Not far right?" asked Joey
"Umm....California." Melissa said squinting her eyes knowing that she was gonna here yelling.
I looked up to see Acey with tears just pouring down his face, but with a blank stare.
He started to shake his head, getting up from his spot on the ground.
And then without a blink he turned around and started running.
"Acey! Stop I'm sorry!" I yelled, trying to keep up, but he was too fast.
I stoped half way, out of breath as I dropped to my knees.
I could hear Joey yelling in the distance.
"I cant fucking believe this!"
I could tell he was crying.
Then I hear a car door and the screech of tires against the pavement.
Still there on my knees, staring into the sun set with tears still flowing, I watch Acey get smaller and smaller until he was gone.
"We had to tell them Shannon." Melissa told me (what I already knew) as she knelt down beside me, putting her head on my shoulder and holding my hand.
I wasn't expecting Acey to do that.
I mean I knew he'd be upset, but run away from me?
We're leaving tomorrow and I didn't even get to say "Goodbye."
"Joey is taking it just as hard." Melissa told me.
I didn't say anything...
We have all known each other since we were very little and it's always been us four, all the time.
So, this dramatic change is a huge impact on all of our lives.
Not to mention I had fell in love with Acey.....
