Bad Romance| Chapter One| Alex Richards

The furnace downstairs buzzed in thesudden silence. Outside, a plane flew by and a distant car's horn beeped.
I shifted uneasily in my position underneath the wooly blanket on my friend, Luth's bed while two pairs of eyes stared at me.
"Are you seriuos?" Melaine said in disbelief
"Please believe me," I pleaded with all my heart
"Sorry, Ray but how could you expect us to?" Luth said
"I know its hard to believe but he is dangerous! Please stay away from him," I repeated
Melaine rolled her big and beatiful hazel eyes
Just how did it end up like this?
Alex Richards.
Always Alex, Alex, Alex
Its been all about him ever since I couldremember. Him and his cocky attitude and playboy face. His gay nose and girly hair.
And he's back to ruin my life, again.
It should of just been my first friday eveer since i started highschool.
"Made it!" I said cheerfully bright and early that morning, slamming myself against my locker which was right in bwtween Luth's and Melaine's.
"Here'sto our last day of succesully finishing the first week of highschool!"Luth said and we all cheered as I fumbled with my lock.
"Not just that but I heard we're getting a new guy and he is super hot!" currently boy friend huntingMelaine squeeled.
Unlike other schools, Mclouds Landing High School is a provate school for the elite. We stick with one class for the whole day and the diffrent teachers come into out class other than P.E, Home Ec., and chemistry. We also have breaks and everyone in the whole school has the same lunch period.
"Isnt he one week late?" I asked while grabbing my books and slammed the locker shut.
"People say he just moved into the town so it took a while for him to unpack and just get used to stuff. But whatever new hottie in town!" Mel wooted as we giggled down the hall way
"Good Morning grade nines," Mr. Louis, our twenty year old main teacher said as he came into the room.
"Yo D.L!" a guy called across the room.
"Peace, man" Mr. Louis said as he put his books down on the teachers desk at the front of his room.
"So cool," Luth said beside me
"I'd tap that," I said and all three of us laughed but Mr. Louis stopped us half way
"Today, as many of you already heard, we are getting a new student. Please welcome... Alex Richards," and while he said that, a curly blond hair guy with electric blue eyes came threw the door.
Oh. My. God.
without thinking, I popped off my seat, slammed my hands on my desk and yelled, "That Alex Richards?"
The whole class fell silent and looked at me.
So did Alex.
"Oh wow. Why is isn't Ray," Alex said in that too sleezy, too cocky voice
And then I knew my worst nightmares were coming back all over again.

"Ray! Long time no see," the blonde started to walk over to me at the other end of the class near the windows.
Melaine, who was sitting infront of me turned around and asked me, "You know him?"
I couldnt answer.
Suddenly my mouth grew dry, my throat choked upand my body got all tense.
I was still trying to soak in what really happening.
Oh Dear Lord if this is a dream pinch me now!
I just countinued to stare at him, speechless.
"Ray, are you okay?" Luth loked up at me and asked
And then the whole class started buzzing, asking questions to both me and Alex Richards. Leaving compliments about ALex Richards. Continuing with their gossips. Texting on phones 'Hottie Alrert!"
Oh, no.
It was happening again. Every single time i meet him it always happen
Alex Richards this and Alex Richards that
"Ray, Wake up!" Mel got up and smacked me beind my head
Alex Richards was now right infront of me. It seems like he grew a lot because now he is a shoulder and a head taller than me.
I blinked a few times, wondering if the person i am seeing right now really is the person I am seeing right now
He gave me that same old, very horrificaly familiar sly smirk.
"Miss me?" he said more in a statement than an answer.
And then, it was at that very moment that this wasnt a dream
And that Mel was right.
Because I, Rina Felton, had to wake up and smeel the coffee because high school is going to be whole new roller coaster ride.
