Former Republican vice presidential applicant Sarah Palin's "Going Rogue" book tour will swing thru Washington County this month, part of a three-week promotional trip that avoids some of the major book-buying markets.
Sarah Palin will stop Nov. Twenty-one at Sam's Club in the Trinity Point development in South Strabane to pump her autobiography'Going Rogue', which is scheduled to hit shelves Nov. 17, HarperCollins spokeswoman Annie Weiss expounded. A store chief dropped comment.
'We have a good Republican base in this area, and I suspect she'll be very well received,' expounded Tom Moore, 69, a Republican who is the supervisors chairman in South Strabane, home to about 8,000 people.
No tour stops are planned in Seattle, San Francisco, Philadelphia, L. A. and other major towns and book-buying communities that are standard for authors on the road, but where the citizens are left wingers.
'I've decided to travel to towns outside of the classic book tour venues, and I'm hoping to cover as much of the country as I can,' Sarah Palin wrote on her Facebook page.
The Sarah Palin's Going Rogue Book tour includes Grand falls, Mich. ; Noblesville, Ind. ; Rochester, N.Y. ; Cincinnati ; Columbus, Ohio ; Roanoke, Va. ; the regiment post in Fort Bragg, N.C. ; the Mall of America in Bloomington, Minn. ; Orlando, Fla. ; and Albuquerque, N.M.
Sarah Palin's planned stop at the Sam's Club store in South Strabane will not be her first trip to Washington County.
Sarah Palin went there on her first full day as the presumptive vice presidential candidate in Aug 2008. Sarah Palin, then the Alaska governor, appeared with GOP presidential candidate Sen. John McCain at Washington's Consol Energy Park for a campaign rally that attracted thousands of fans.
Sonia Stopperich, second vice chair of the Washington County Republican Party, said folk still talk fondly about that event, and Sarah Palin, in general.
'I still hear from Republicans and just regular citizens that ... Still look up to her and see her as a workable voice for the Republicans. I suspect there'll be a good turnout,' Stopperich declared.
Moore agreed. 'I know I want to see her,' he revealed.
'She'll be the largest person to roll through here in fresh memory. There has not been any one I'd consider of her stature for quite some time. I do not believe she's's presidential material, although I think she has got a definite place in public life and potentially in higher office, presumably in the way of the Senate or House.'.
Going Rogue traces one ordinary voter's astonishing journey and donates Sarah Palin's vision of a way forward for America and her ceaseless hope in the greatest nation on earth.
The Sarah Palin book going Rogue is scheduled to be released on 17th of this month. You can order Sarah Palin Book Here for Just $9.
