50 Ways To Spend Your Christmas, Stuck With an Annoyingly Hot Emo Delinquent [06; REVAMP]
(Read me!) This have got to be the hardest chapter I have to write. Ever. The result? It's crappy. I apologize for that, and I swear I'll try my very best to make the next one amusing and interesting.

Exhaustion eventually led to delusions.
No, I didn't see Santa or anything. But for some reason I kept seeing Scott giggling like a seriously deranged school girl. It's only when I accidentally spilled my drink that I finally realized that I wasn't delusional at all.
This was real.
And I need to do something, because god knows what's running through my dad's and Nathan's head right now. My mother? She's gullible. You see, when we say tomato, she says potato. And I do mean that quite literally.
For a period of time, we ate 'potatoes' which looked oddly like tomatoes...
Across the table, Nathan was glaring at me. "Is this some sort of a joke?" he grunted, tossing his napkin down on his lap. My mother was confused by his statement, whilst the corner of my dad's lips were twitching upward.
Nathan got up angrily and said, "And here I thought you were a goody-goody two shoes, Charlotte. Lying to us? Getting a gay friend to be your pretend boyfriend? Pathetic."
The last word pierced my heart.
For some reason, he was acting really angry towards this. I blushed furiously. "It was a joke," I muttered. Nice cover story, Charlotte. Very nice.
7) Never lie to a delinquent, especially if you're a horrible liar.
I owed everyone an explanation.
"Nice job," he said.
Which took me by surprise so much that I fell out of my seat.
"You lied?" my dad suddenly said, as if he didn't knew that all the while he was talking to Scott about gay rights. "I couldn't believe it."
"Me neither," my mom said a bit too dramatically. Well, who could blame her? I never lied in my life.
Except for little white lies, but that was so little it barely affected anyone. This...however...
I apologized profusely to everyone, avoiding eye contact with Nathan.
And then I was grounded.

Nathan snuck out and climb onto the next room's balcony. The gap wasn't that big, so it wasn't really that dangerous.
Now he knew what the girl was capable of when she was a tad annoyed. He smirked. Maybe this wasn't such a bad idea after all. Maybe he might enjoy it here. But first, he needed to go somewhere after he received a text from a...friend.
He tapped on her balcony door loudly. Thrice.
The door swung open, revealing a cute black-haired girl. She looked like hell. "I don't want to talk to you," she snapped, already closing the door back but Nathan stopped her. "I don't care about the no boyfriend thing," he said.
"Shut up," she replied angrily and tried to push the door, but Nathan was already leaning against it. "What are the chances of surviving a fall from here?"
"What?"
"Dress up. We're going to the mall."
"I'm not going with you!" she said after she slapped him. "I had enough drama for a lifetime. My life? It wasn't suppose to be like this. Not until you came!"
"Charlotte, I could really use a company right now."
"You?!" she said, laughing hysterically. He rolled his eyes. "You got grounded for a day," he said. "Stop being a drama queen."
She slapped him again. The second time, it actually stung.
"Fine. Be that way. So what are you going to do huh, Charlotte? Be a role model for the rest of your life? Fuck, your life must be so ridiculously boring."
For a moment there, Nathan thought he saw Charlotte letting her guard down. He took the opportunity and grabbed her wrist. "I'll give you a cookie if you be nice," he said. Charlotte was already gearing up to slap him for the third time.
"I wish you'd stop doing that," he sighed.

Author's Note: It sucks, yes I know. I nearly gave up on this chapter.
I am so sorry about that. I just don't know how to put my imagination into words on this one. You have to consider, Charlotte is still a teenager. Teenagers, whether you like it or not, sometimes do stupid stuff.
And Charlotte is a goody-goody two shoes. She couldn't lie long enough to save her life. Cue in Nathan. There is a reason why he hates it when people lie to him more than anyone else. That reason would possibly be revealed in the next chapter.
I'm sorry if it's not up to par. But I hope you won't give up on me yet.
I've been feeling quite crappy this week. Maybe it affects my writing. It always does in the past. *Sigh* But I'll make the next chapter interesting enough. So if you continue reading this story, I would very much appreciate it.
Rate and messages would be appreciated, too. If you're gonna rate me down, suit yourself. But I do hope you give a reason why. Or else, I won't be able to improve now wouldn't I? Thanks so much for reading this, and I hope you've enjoyed this chapter.
