trapped in Shippuden..pt. 1

Three years became no more than a fleeting moment.
I trained hard, like all my senseis said I should. I no longer thought of my family back home. In fact, I soon forgotten about them. I lingered on to the present.
Kiba showed off his skills along with faithful Akamaru. He always joked around though. The jerk he is.
Shino was very calm and cool, teaching me how to listen closely of anything incoming.
Hinata was very kind and she seemed like a fragile doll. We were like partners.
Soon I learned how to track.
I hated being part of Asuma sensei's team. Ino gets mad all the freakin' time but you gotta admit, it's funny.
Shikamaru's the smart-ass of the group. He's lazy though I was very interested in his shadow possessions.
Choji was the nicest of all. Everyday after training, we'd always goout to eat. I usually defend him from Ino's insult attacks.
They showed me ways how to best defend myself.
Sometimes, I would play shogi or go with Asuma sensei afterwards. He had taught me how to play and I have become quite addicted to it. And most of the time I would plead Shikamaru to play against me.
"Nah," he would reply, "I'm tired."
One day I will kick his lazy butt.
Finally, Guy's team. I've been waiting for so long to get up each morning and see Neji's face at training. Heh heh.
Of course, due to me being new in their team, Guy makes me run around the village each day for at least 30 minutes.
We concentrated on physical attacks and it was Tenten who helped me how to use weapons expertly. I still haven't got the courage to use a kurenai.
TenTen was always to eager and I liked her. She's fun to be around. I think she likes Neji but I could be wrong (I hope so...).
Neji was calm and a bit interested in my techniques. God, he was so cute. Ahem.
Rock Lee is odd-looking, just like Guy sensei. He's awesome, I tell you. He makes me smile alot and I enjoy talking to him.
I sat in the room I grew very familiar with. The black tshirt no longer fitted me. Nor my converse and my worn-out jeans. I've gotten new clothes.
I slipped in a white long, frilly skirt and a gray sweatshirt, tying the leaf village headband around my ankle. I read a long time ago of a fanfiction of a girl in Naruto who did the same thing. I thought it was cute.
I looked into the mirror. My hair grew longer, I noticed. My bangs outgrown too.
Today is my 17th birthday.
Kakashi was out again. For I don't know where.
I pulled on my shoes and headed out into the sunlight.
There was no training today. Maybe I should visit Sakura. Haven't seen her in such a long time. I guess I never really wanted to, considering the fact that she tends to be very annoying.
As I walked with nothing else to do, I find Shikamaru under a tree. I decided to sit next to him so I did.
"Hello!" I say brightly.
He opened his eyes. "What do you want?"
"Rude much," I mutter. I gazed up at the sky along with him. It was nice and I could see why he enjoyed watching the clouds.
I hadn't noticed him staring at me.
"What?" I frowned.
"You just seem different then when you arrived here in the village," he said casually and looked away.
"Different, huh?" I say softly.
"Hey," he said suddenly and then pointed at the blue sky. "Doesn't that cloud look like a heart to you?"
I looked up. "It looks more like a triangle to me."
Shikamaru shrugged. He looked like he was about to sleep so I stood up and walked away without saying goodbye.
Back then I didn't realize what he was trying to say.
"Bah humbug," I mumbled to myself, strolling along. "17 years old. Sadly I don't have a drivers license yet."
"AMII-CHAAAAAN!"
Someone jumped on me and I fell facedown on the cement ground.
"OOFAH!"
My head hurt. I think I'm bleeding. I sat up very slowly and then came face to face with Naruto.
"NARUTO!" I yelled and attacked him with a hug. "Dude, you've changed!"
"I did?" he grinned.
We both stood up. "Wow, you grew taller." I commented.
"You did too." He smiled widely at me.
I noticed Sakura was standing by.
"Hey Sakura! What ishh up, my homie?" I did not know what pocessed me to say that. "Naruto's here!"
"Yep. We met up just before you came in," she grumbled. Knowing her expression, I can tell she didn't enjoy the reunion.
Tsunade and Pervy Sage were here too.
"It's been a while!" Naruto exclaimed.
I noticed Sakura looking at him.
Hoo hoo hoo, I said in my head. I smirked.
She noticed.
"WHAT ARE YOU SMILIN' ABOUT?" she said angrily.
"Nah. Nothin'. Just glad that we're back together again," I said.
