Dominic Lusk Kansas City Biography

Dominic Michael Lusk, is an Afro-American and he came to this world on April, 1st, in the year 1962 in Texas. Dominic Lusk was born 36 months behind his sister (Lynda) but 700 days before his younger brother (Richard) in Texas. Most of Dominic’s young life was lived in absolute obliviousness on the famous African - American civil rights stir which had gripped the whole nation; a which was responsible for him and his likes to lead their lives with dignity and freedom. His typical Afro – American upbringing had been stern, disciplinarian and yet, complete with love and affection. His father and mother did not have the advantage of education and were employed as unskilled laborers; which did not allow a good life style but they ensured that their children were never deprived of any of their basic needs. The significance of education was not lost to Dominic’s parents and they did all things possible to enable all their children to go to school.
Dominic M Lusk was an good student and still takes happiness from the fact that he was better than his siblings at school. In the year 1975, Dominic’s father made a decision to join his brother’s business and the Lusk family shifted to Kansas City, as a result. Dominic continued with his schooling in Dominic Lusk Kansas City and at the same time, started to help his father and uncle in their milk supply business. His youth was as regularly common, as his childhood had been. Dominic by now was well acquainted with his heritage and thankful for the relative independence that his people enjoyed. Dominic Lusk's greatestforemost influence at this age was not Martin Luther King but unexpectedly, an African American fire fighter by the name Robert Lowery, who became the first black fire commissioner in the US. Dominic nurtured a longing to become a fire fighter like his hero. When he completed school with decent marks, he expressed this desire with his parents and also told them that he had no desire to pursue higher Studies. His parents had to hesitantly agree to this and Dominic right away joined the fire service of Dominic Lusk Kansas City to live his dream.
As the time passed by, Dominic’s appeal and passion for fire fighting gradually diminished as he understood that the fire fighter’s job was difficult, demanding and thankless; which demanded huge hours and very small benefits. His lack of higher education also lessened his opportunities to scale up the work ladder. But, he had a regular job that paid adequately. In 1986, he married Nancy (who is his distant relative from his mother’s side), after a romance of two years. Dominic’s son William was born in the year 1988 and that is when Dominic accepted that he had to pursue higher studies to earn more for his family. He took up part time studies and since he had always been a decent student, he was able to complete his graduation within four years. Just when he was about to complete his graduation, Dominic was given a chance to move to the administrative division in the fire service department. He happily moved and still enjoys to work there till today. The years between 1993 and 2003 were uneventful job wise but was full of sadness personally. He lost his father in 1994, his mother expired in 1998 and his life partner left this world in 2003. What a sorrowful period of 10 years!
Dominic Lusk decided not to marry again after his wife’s death and decided to be a single parent to his son. William is 20 years old as on date and is on the cusp of finishing his graduation. Dominic’s duties towards his family are almost over and he now is looking forward to the day when he can live for himself; he wants to start his funfilled childhood all over again!
