"Evening." A femanine voice rang out in the silence. It was familiar and welcoming, but at the same time the tone was filled with a hint of worry. Yusei turned his head quickly to face a girl from the past, a girl who's brother he had dueled once before and won. "It's you..." He said, slightly surprised that someone like her was here, actually speaking to him.

"What are you doing here? From what I recall your brother wasn't all too happy with how things ended, I'm sure he would be very displeased if he knew his only sister was here with the guy that beat him." He spoke calmly, but still with his usual cocky tongue. "Oi, I'm not supposed to be here, right...It is very dangerous, for me and for you. I-I'm sorry, I shouldn't be waisting your time or putting you at risk." She stated softly then turned her back to leave.

"Akagi Ryuu, that's your name, isn't it?" He called out after she had taken a few steps away from him. The crimson haired girl turned around then blushed lightly. "Y-yes, it is. I remember your name too! How can I not? You duel so well and I've always heard such good stories about you and how you win and all!" She exclaimed then giggled nervously when she realized she was getting a bit too excited.

"So, why are you here?" He asked the question from before again. "Oh, well...I wanted to...see you again. I wanted to see the boy that's known as a champion from all over,...again." Akagi spoke quietly and in a nervous tone. "Oh? And why is that?" Yusei asked, curious as ever. It's not every day an enemies sibling pops up wanting to speak to you. "Because...I-...I admire you." The girl admitted with a faint smile.

"You're my enemy, I'm not supposed to like you, but after that day I watched you duel against a variety of people. They all had amazing attacks, defenses, and unique styles, but you, the one with variety, you always back fire with amazing strength and determination. You're blessed and your skilled...and I admire all that because it was self-made. You became the person you are today simply by never giving up. I want to be able to do that too..." She explained then let her Amber eyes meet his.

Yusei stayed silent for a moment then smiled to himself as he adverted his gaze elsewhere. "You have guts. Meeting me here to tell me something like that." His hand pulls out a piece of paper that told him to meet Akagi here. "The ones you are always with would have a fit if they knew. For someone so shy and 'innocent' you are quite daring. Now, that is something I admire. Hm, you know, I can't stay here for long, lets meet up tomorrow. Same time. Same place."

"S-seriously?" She blinked, surprised by his words yet very happy. "Yeah. It'd be nice...getting to know you more. Just be careful coming out here." Yusei chuckled then began to walk off, leaving Akagi standing alone with a blush and a wide open mouth.

The next day, at the same exact time as yesterday, they arrived with pleased expressions. "You're here!" She exclaimed taking a few steps towards him. "I don't lie, not to my friends and especially not to cute girls like you." He smirked. "Wh-wha-?" She stuttered then looked down. "R-right, so, what would you like to do...?" Akagi asked in her usual shy manner. "Anything. I'm open to whatever you have in mind." The male teen said. "C-can I see your deck?" She looked up at him slowly.

"Well...sure." He pulled out his cards then handed them over to her. "Careful with them, but I trust you weren't planning on doing anything bad to the cards." He smiled slightly then watched as her expression changed to an amazed one each time she looked at a new card. "This deck is brilliant! Wow!" She grinned, looking at each card. "Glad you're impressed. Can I see your deck?" He asked her. "O-oh, okay, sure, but...it's not as good as yours." She said then handed him her deck.

Yusei examined the cards with a thoughtful expression on his tanned face. "You know, these aren't really that bad. If you practice enough and have the right amount of confidence then I am certain you'll make it far." He stated truthfully as they gave ecah other their decks back. "R-really? Thank you, that is really nice of you...Yusei." Akagi smiled at him. "No problem, Akagi." Their eyes met for one moment, it was as if they were sending each other small soundless messages, but then he decided to look away, making her feel slightly dissapointed.

"Ah, same time tomorrow then, Yusei?" She asked in a hopeful tone. "Of course." He replied.

Many months had passed by since that very day, but as hours, days and weeks continued on, they became closer. Akagi opened up to him. She shared her emotions, thoughts, and opinions about things she could never say before, and he didn't mind listening, for he did the same. It was nice to do somethine that could take your mind off of dueling, so Yusei honestly did look forward to seeing the cardinal haired girl often. He then decided that she was someone he could trust and rely on, but he never told the others this. Yusei was not really in the mood to let anyone know about this, because he was afraid that if they found out, then he wouldn't be able to see her again.

The same went for Akagi. There was just no way she could tell her brother or her friends that she was hanging out with a supposed enemy. She couldn't bare to lose the one person that she had adjusted to. So, everything was a secret. A secret that no one questioned because they all asumed it was normal. How funny...

"Yusei." She spoke his name quietly. "Hm?" The boy replied. "I-I...I need to-...There is something I need to say." Akagi let out a shaky sigh. "Is...something wrong?" He looked over at her with concerned eyes. "N-no!" She bursted the word out quickly. "I-I mean everything is fine, but...there is something I should admit. I-I figure I should say it not, because...what if I can't say it later?" "What do you mean by that?" Yusei questioned. "I-I mean, I'm going to tell you something now, about myself, because if I don't then I'll never be able to say it." The girl managed to speak. "Then say it. You can tell me anything and I won't think anything bad of it. You can...trust me."

"Yusei..." Akagi looked up at him, her amber eyes meeting with his once again like that faithful day. "You...I...I like...you got me." She stuttered out. "Huh?" He have her a surprised look. "I like you, Yusei Fudo. A lot. My feelings are strong are about you, I feel so safe and at rest when around you. And I don't care what my friends or my brother has to say at this point, because I really...really can't deny or ignore any of this..." She lowered her head then bit her lip to hold back her blush and her tears.

"Akagi..." He called her name with his seductive and addicting voice as he lifted her chin with his index and middle finger. "That's brave of you. I admire that." His face inched closer to hers as he closed his eyes and allowed his lips to come in contact with hers. Her eyes went wide because of his action, but soon they closed as she relaxed. She could feel the heat that was filled with passion and need that surrounded the two. It was amazing, everything that was going on. When they broke apart, she touched her lips then blinked. "Thank you..." He whispered.
