Everything was new. The neighborhood, the house, the streets and the people. Yes. Definitely the people. Kerrie like living in Leipzig but she had to admit, she loved her previous home better. She had friends and right then, she had to start all the way from scratch. It was creepy because everyone seemed to know her but she didn't know anyone. A scoop of ice-cream under the hot Sun. Kerrie licked her chocolate flavored ice-cream and tucked her dirty blonde lock behind her ear. Everyone seemed to be giving her the weird look. Maybe it was her hoodie that she was wearing under the blistering hot Sun. Kerrie shrugged and started walking, letting her legs go wherever they wanted too. She didn't have any plans so might as well make something up on the way. Tall buildings turned to houses before they finally turned to patches of green. The park. Perfect. Kerrie looked at her almost melted ice-cream before licking her fingers that were stained with ice-cream, not wary of the stare coming from one particular direction. "Hey, isn't that the girl that lives next door?" Tom jerked and turned to face where his younger twin, Bill, was pointing and raised his eyebrows. "Yeah. So?" Bill beamed a smile, "Let's go talk to her!" Tom rolled his eyes and took another look at the green-eyed girl. White skinnies, black sneakers and a black hoodie. "Nah. She's not my type. You go ahead." The younger Kaulitz glared at Tom before punching his shoulders, causing Tom to yelp. Rubbing his aching shoulder, he pushed Bill and being the one who didn't like to lose, Bill pushed him back, causing Tom's butt to meet mother nature's grass and dirt. "Fuck you, Bill!" Kerrie turned and took a moment to generate what had happened before laughing softly but not soft enough. Tom groaned and stood up, brushing dirt of his pants before tuning to glare at Kerrie. "What are you laughing at?" Kerrie swallowed back her remaining laughter, "You." Bill's jaws dropped. That was the first girl to ever be so straight and spontaneous to Tom. Tom squinted his eyes in annoyance before it landed on her ice-cream. In an instant, he took the remaining cone away and smirked at the widen-eyed Kerrie. "Hey, look at that. The scoop might fall off so let me help you." Tom asked 'politely'. The next thing Kerrie knew, her precious ice-cream got gobbled up by a monster so hideous, even her grandmother's fake teeth would run away. Kerrie gasped and gritted her teeth, her blood slowly reaching a temperature of 100 degrees Celsius. Ding Ding Ding. Her boiling point. Bill watched silently from afar and wished that he had some popcorn to go with his coke. The show was getting very interesting. Tom licked his fingers and smiled widely to Kerrie. That ought to teach the little girl a lesson about laughing at strangers who were abused by their twin sibling. "Oops. Look at that. It's gone!" Tom cooed. Kerrie raised her right eyebrow and thought that Tom was one big baby. He looked like a sixteen year old but from the way he acted, he was nowhere near the age of five at all. "Bye bye!" Before Tom could stride away proudly, he felt a hand gripped his right shoulder before turning him around. Without another second wasted, he felt his jaw fly. It flew so high, blood spat out. "Fuck!" Kerrie stuck up her nose and relaxed her clenched fist before giving an innocent smile to Tom. Tom winced and glared at Kerrie. "What? What?" Kerrie mocked. Tom gritted his teeth and stepped forward. Kerrie was ready for a fight. Her parents didn't enroll her in Boxing class for nothing. "Why you little-" "Hello! I'm Bill. That's my annoying brother, DickHead. You're our new neighbor right?" Tom stared at Bill confusedly, who only took Kerrie's hand and led her away to the distance. Tom raised his hands slightly and confusion was written all over his face. What the hell just happened? Kerrie never forgot that ice-cream incident. She still held a grudge against Tom and so did he against her for punching his face back then. Three years flew by like a breeze and Kerrie and Tom were a popular topic at school. Not because they were dating or anything but because they were pure, mad enemies who constantly tries to ambush each other with pranks and punches. Even Bill lost count of how many times the both of them got sent to the Principle's office. Bill sighed and dropped on the sofa, "What did the Principle say?" Kerrie kept quiet and kept her distance away from Tom, who was sitting at least ten meters away from the alien he calls, Leech. "Tom's expelled." Kerrie lied, purposely trying hit a nerve in Tom's body. "No. You're the one who has cafeteria duties." Tom fought back before Bill shook his head. Here they go again. The night was cold and the winds were giving no mercy. Heavy rain poured as Kerrie clutched her hoodie tighter, fighting off the cold that linger throughout her body. Her vision was blurry as she fought her way back home. One more street to cross and home sweet home. "Stupid rain..." She cursed under her breath, crossing the almost deserted street without looking left nor right. She took big strides, with hope that she would reach home quickly and dry herself off before making herself a cup of very nice and warm chocolate. That hope never came. Loud horns. A blinding light. Her body being thrown aside. That was all that she remembered. "Oh my god. Oh my god. Oh my god." Kerrie kept repeating. Kerrie was dead, or so she thought she was. Kerrie held on tight, not realizing that she was clutching another being. She slowly opened her eyes. Her green ores met brown ones and she swore that she was dead and that she was in heaven. Tom stared back, slowly getting lost in the sea of green before his heart soften upon seeing tears streaming down her face. It wasn't rain, he was sure of it. "Kerrie?" Kerrie's eyes grew wide. That incident was never spoke off again. It was Kerrie and Tom's little secret. However, it was one little secret that was slowly eating the both of them alive. "Let's play... Spin the bottle!" Georg exclaimed in excitement as the Kerrie sat in a circle with the others. Four guys and four girls to be exact. Kerrie didn't know the other girls. Probably some girl that Tom was trying to fuck to be a non-virgin. Bill sat comfortably beside Kerrie and gave her a smile before Kerrie returned it. "So... Let's begin! Tens minutes in the closet. What happens inside is none of our business." Georg explained. The first spin. Kerrie spun it. It turn clock-wise and seconds later, it started to slow down. Gustav, Red hair girl, Blonde hair girl, Bill, Kerrie.... Tom. "No way!" Kerrie shouted, disgusted. Of all the people that she could kiss, the bottle just had to land her worst nightmare, Thomathy Kaulitz. Frustrated, she stomped inside the closet but before she got in, Bill grabbed her hand, "Please don't kill him." Kerrie nodded, assuring Bill that his beloved brother was going to be safe, and the door slammed shut. Kerrie stared into the darkness, barely making out Tom's figure but she knew he was dare, his back pressed up against the wall as his right leg supported his left. Then silence invaded Tick Tock Tick Tock. She sighed. Ten minutes seemed so short but right there and then, even one second felt like an eternity. Where Tom was, she didn't care. Kerrie just wanted to that game done and over with. "Kerrie?" Kerrie gave a small scream and jumped, not expecting Tom to be standing beside her. Before she could move away any further, Tom grabbed her hand and pulled her forward. Kerrie froze and her heart started beating a thousand times faster, just like that day when that accident happened. "T-Tom?" Kerrie stuttered, trying to compose herself but Tom's touch was simply too overpowering. "Tom. Let me go." She tried again but Tom refused too comply. She didn't know what was going through his mind. Usually, she wouldn't want to know what was going through that sick mind of his but right then, she wanted to so badly. Tom didn't spoke. He simply left Kerrie in the dark, with his hand still gripping Kerrie's arm firmly. "To-" "I need to ask you something." Tom cut her, finally uttering a word. Kerrie raised her eyebrow, "About?" He took a moment to reply, as if he was debating with himself before stating, "I want to know what do you feel after I do this." "Do wh-" Tom firmly pressed his lips against her moist ones and was taken aback by how soft it was. Kerrie didn't kiss back but he didn't care. He just needed her answer and that was the way he could actually get the truth out of her. Kerrie froze and time stopped for her. Now ten minutes felt like a light year away. It was never going to come. She pulled back and left Tom wanting more. "What are you doing?" Tom held both of her hands. At first, Kerrie wanted to pull them back but then, his hands felt... Warm and safe. "I don't know, Kerrie, but I want to know if you felt anything from that." She wanted to lie. Kerrie wanted to lie about how her stomach flipped, how her heart raced and how she wanted to kiss him back. "I-I. Tom, what is all this?" Kerrie was confused. Confused beyond confusion itself. She hated him and he hated her. They weren't suppose to be kissing and asking if they felt anything from that kiss. "I think I fell for you." Tom said it straight and Kerrie held her breath. Her ears must be deceiving her. They must be playing tricks on her again. "I think I like you now and I like you a lot." It was still playing tricks on her. "I think I'm insane and I am because I'm crazy about you." The truth smacked Kerrie hard in the face. She was elated but at the same time, shocked and speechless in a way that she can't describe. "Kerrie, I-" "No Tom. I can't." Kerrie admitted. Tom stayed quiet, letting her explain. "I don't know. This is all too sudden and the crazy thing is, I think I like you also but I'm just- Urgh! I don't know, Tom. I don't know." Kerrie sighed before looking away. Tom smiled. He got the answer that he needed. "Give me time to steal your heart away." Tom asked and he got himself a deal. The rest flew by and they couldn't recall how many times they kissed. Maybe right then, they weren't together but Tom had promised that she would be his. Now, all that matters was that their secret stayed a secret. "Thank god!" Bill clapped his hands, happy to see his brother and best-friend alive. "How was it?" Gustav asked Tom. Tom gagged and shook his head, "Like I would ever kiss her." Kerrie played along and rolled her eyes, "Like I would ever want to kiss him." Kerrie secretly smiled and Tom returned it. That was their dirty, little secret.
