Tyler’s POV
I smiled as she hugged me. I knew I got it. I got basketball captain. I started to spin her around. She was laughing; I knew she was her again. Just wait till I tell the guys.
The next day
I knocked on the door. I heard her footsteps. She opened the door. She was in a robe and she was coughing. “Sick?” I asked her as I walked in.“When I saw your face yes.” She said smiling as I tailed her up stairs.“Hey, you don’t have to hide your feelings. You told me everything yesterday.” I said smiling at her.“Well your ego just got bigger.” She commented.“Hey not funny.” I shot back.“It wasn’t meant to be.” She said smiling back at me. We walked into her room.“Your room smells bad.” I joked.“Shuddup! Your nose just stinks from the inside.” She shot back.
Ashley’s POV
We were learning Korean again. “Okay, give me a Korean line.” I said smiling.“Kisu shi•te.” He said leaning in.“That’s Jap not Korean.” I said pushing him away.“Still.” He said leaning in again. This time I couldn’t push him because he was holding down my arms.“I’m sick.” I said.“I’m receiving my reward.” He said smirking.“What? Raping me? I’ll let you know, that’s a crime.” I said turning my head away from him.“I wasn’t about to do that, but that’s a good idea.” He said. I could feel him breathing on my lips. He was that close.“You’ll get sick.” I said. He just smiled and pressed his lips on mine.
The next day
I was sitting in Tyler’s room taking his temperature. “That was so worth it.” He said smiling.“What? Kissing me so you can get sick, so I can take care of you?” I asked raising an eyebrow.“Yeah for sure.” He said stroking my arm. I playfully slap him on the shoulder. He laughed and pretended it hurt.I started to feed him so sushi. “Hmm… Nice.” He said.“Really?” I asked him.“Best sushi I tasted. More please.” He said.“But there’s no more.” I said.“Ngaw…” he gave me the puppy dog eyes.“Fine, when love you I’ll make you some more.” I said.“Now!” he said.“No.” I said flatly.“When?” he asked me.“When I really love you I will.” I said.
Tyler’s POV
The next Week
I chased up to Andy. “Hey man. I got her.” I said slapping him on the back.“Man was she hard? You took so long.” He said.“Man she was easy. I just wanted to take it slow with her.” I said.“You going to break the news to her that you were playing her?” he asked me.“No, Why?” I asked him.“Because you don’t like her.” he said coolly. I paused for a moment and turned around it was Ashley standing there. Tears started to fall from her eyes. She started to run off. I chased after her.
She was a fast runner. Here I am again looking for her again. I saw her in the distance. I ran up to her but she fell. I caught up to her and grabbed her wrist. “What did you hear?” I asked her.“Everything!” she said pushing me away. “Easy huh? You think I was easy? I can’t believe I fell for something like you.” She said getting up.“I’m sorry…” I started to cry too. Her knees where scraped and bleeding, but I could tell that her heart was bleeding too.“Pathetic! For once I thought you were a new guy, who wouldn’t mind me looking my worst, cheer me up when I’m sad and paid me back eve though I gave him so little in the first place. Maybe I should die while sleeping… So I can sleep forever and live in my dreams. When I was truly happy.” She said through all her tears.“I’m sorry.” I said clinging on to her wrist. She pushed me away.“You know what let’s play a game. Let’s play that game call memory loss! So I could forget everything!” she said. Throwing at box at me and running off.
I opened the box. There was sushi in it.
Flashback
She started to feed me so sushi. “Hmm… Nice.” I said.“Really?” she asked me“Best sushi I tasted. More please.” I said.“But there’s no more.” She said.“Ngaw…” I said giving her the puppy dog eyes.“Fine, when love you I’ll make you some more.” She said.“Now?” I said.“No.” She said flatly.“When?” I asked her.“When I really love you I will.” she said.
Flash back over
She really loved me… Now since she’s gone I needed her back more than ever. I felt so out of place and something was missing. Now I believe the saying “You never know what you got till it’s gone.”I started to cry again.
