Some Other Way to Continue (Gerard Way) to Hide My Face 20

The whole rest of the day was AWESOME! We went to get ice cream, then movies, then went to lunch, hung out at the park, watched rockey horror picture show at my house, went to dinner, and then came back here.

As i walked back into the house i realized i hadnt seen my phone since this morning. I went upstairs and grabbed it, checking its messages.

5 MISSED CALLS.

They were all from Jepha of corse. I smiled and pressed send, calling him back.

Jeph- hey!

Me- Hi! how are you?

Jeph- good where have you been all day? i must have called you a million times!

Me- just out with everyone, getting my mind off of things.

Jeph- well thats good, how are you dealing?

Me- good, actually. but i miss you.

Jeph- i miss you too. and i love you.

Me- i love you too.

--Ray enters room--

"were gonna play truth or dare in a few if your interested." he said.

"okay, thanks, ill be there in one minute." i replied.

Jeph- whats that?

Me- oh were gonna play a game, ill talk to you tomorrow?

Jeph- yep. love you.

Me- love you too.

i hung up and ran downstairs. everyone already lay down in a circle on their elbows facing eachother. i took the open spot next to Gerard and we started to play.

the way we played, was someone spun a bottle, and whoever it landed on, had to pick truth or dare. and the first thing yelled out is the truth/dare they have to do.

Ray spun first and it landed on Frankie. "dare!" he smiled

everyone laughed because we always gave him the worst dares.

"i dare you to strip off all your clothes and run down the street." Bob laughed.

everyone burst into fits of laughter as frank walked outside. Everyone was positioned at the window to watch him strip and run down the block except me and cara.

"why arent you watching?" i laughed.

"this isnt exactly the way i wanna see him naked the first time." she said shyly.

"ohhh you guys havnt..."

"nope" she shrugged.

"have you and Jeph?"

"nah" i shook my head.

she smiled, "its better to wait a while."

"agreed."

everyone began coming back and took their previous seats.

the bottle was spun again and it landed on Rachel. "truth." she said quietly

everyone was quiet so i took that as a que to step in.

"do you love bob?" now i know that wasnt the best question, but i could see they really do want to say it to eachother, but are worried about what the other one might say. i thought i could speed the process along.

she was taken by surpirise, waited a few seconds, and then looked at him. "yes, i do love you."

there was a chorus of "AWWW!'S" from everyone. and then bob spun the bottle again.

to my dismay, it landed on me.

i shrugged, "dare."

bob smiled at gerard and then leaned over to ray, who whispered something in bobs ear. bob whispered back and then nodded. he then turned to me.

"i dare you to kiss gerard, on the lips."

there were at least two or three gasps coming from the group, and my jaw dropped. it was definitely a scene from a movie or something.

"i dont think..."

"its a dare.." ray laughed.

"you forced poor Rachel to say she loved me, and that musta been hard. man up cass!" bob laughed as well.

i sighed and looked at gerard, who looked white as a ghost. i wondered if i looked as terrified as he did. but i tried to hide it. his eyes were wide open and his mouth just hung there, as if confused.

"well, go on." Frankie urged.

i felt my hands shake as i leaned in closer. i glanced quickly to the side and saw everyone staring at us, waiting for the moment.

ive been waiting for this my whole life, and just as it is about to happen, i get super nervous. my stomach in knots, my lips trembling. i quickly looked up at him and he looked the same.

he leaned in the last bit and out lips touched. it sent electric shocks through my whole body! we held it there for a few seconds before gerard began to go harder. i didnt stop him, because just like him, i was hungry for more.

he slipped me some tongue, and i followed in suit. it felt like there was no stopping us. he touched my cheek with his hand, and it felt like heaven. after what felt like only 3 seconds, i heard:

"okay you can stop now, the dares over!"

i pulled away from him and looked up at him. his eyes were still open wide, but the color had come back to his face, and he had an astonished face. not one that id ever seen on him before.

i stared at him for a second and then turned back to everyone else. they all looked the same, jaws dropped, staring at us.

i didnt know what to do besides lay down in my origional position, gerard following my lead. i didnt make eye contact with anyone the rest of the night. i dont think anyone else got over that dare either because everything after that seemed awkward, like no one knew what to say.

as i sat there i thought about how that was the best kiss of my life, but i also thought about what i was going to say to jeph. i really couldnt come up with much...
