Adventures of a girl in Harvest Moon 64 Part 2

'Aww, his name is biscuit! How cute!' you exclaim. You feed him a snack you had packed in your rucksack, since he looked so skinny. Then you head to the field to start work. You manage to clear away a few boulders before and stumps before you realize how tired you are, and give up for the day. You walk back to the house to wash your hands and freshen up. You might as well meet the villagers with the rest of the day, and you want to look good! You walk back out your door, and you see a good looking man with brown hair and a falcon on his shoulder slump down near your house. You go over and ask if he is alright. 'Food...' is all he can say. You reach into your rucksack and pull out what to feed him?
Pocky! Lots of Pocky! *huggle Cliff then huggle pocky* ((Me: That was for you Gomey))
A box of granola bars. You don't carry anything fattening around.
A bag of potato chips! Mmm, potatoes...
Water. That beggar can get his own food!
Well, whatever you give him, he takes it and eats it all. He manages to stand up. 'Thank you.' he says. 'My name is Cliff, and this is my friend Cain.' He points to the falcon on his shoulder. 'Oh... My name is Jill... It's nice to meet you, Cliff...' You blush a little. He grins and blushes as well, then looks at Cain. 'Ahh, well, I'll pay you back, someday. It was really nice of you to save me like that...' He turns to look at you again and winks, before walking away. You smile as he dissappears, and hope that all the villagers are as cute as he is. Well, I might as well get going, you think to yourself. You towards the entrance of your farm, and when you get there, you five different ways to go. One way seems to lead to a farm, two lead to the village, one leads to a vineyard, and the other leads to a forest. Which way do you go?
To the other farm!
To the village! I don't want to be stuck in more outdoorsyness! Ick!
To the vineyard. I want to get drunk
To the forest... I see a river, and I want to go skinnydipping! ((Me: O_O))
Well, whichever way you choose, you end up going to the farm. Some fat man in purple is in front of the other roads, and when he asked if he could eat you, you were too afraid to ask him to move. So, off to the farm! You walk through the entrance, and scan the area. It seems like no one is around, so you walk in farther, and see a bunch of cows. You think animals are adorable, so you walk over to get a closer look at them, when a girl with blue eyes and red hair runs over. 'Hi! I don't think we have met before! I am Ann! Who are you?' You notice she is very hyper, but very friendly as well. You smile at her, and answer:
'Hi! My name is Jill!'
'Jill...' *Step away from the creepy hyper girl*
'I'm not telling you my name!'
'...' *Glare at her until she catches on fire*
'Oh! That is such a nice name!' Her neverending supply of energy kind of irks you, but you are easy going, so you let it go. 'Hey! I ave an idea! Wait here for a second!' She runs off, and leaves you standing there, looking rather dumb. You try to be patient, but it takes a really long time for her to come back. All of a sudden you feel a taping on your back. What the? How did she get behind me? You turn around and ask, 'Where did you go, Ann?' Then you open your eyes and see it isn't Ann at all. He sure does look like her though. You blush heavily and say 'Sorry, I thought you were someone else...' He looks you up and down, but shows no signs of being friendly. 'So you are the girl Ann is talking about? You don't look that spectacular to me...' You open your mouth to say something when Ann comes running back, leading a colt behind her. 'Hey! I see you met Gray!' She smiles again, and nudges Gray. 'Sorry he isn't very nice, but he's that way to everyone, so don't be offended. Gray looks over at Ann, then scowls at no one in particular and walks away. You look after him, somewhat longingly. He was rather cute... You turn back to Ann. 'Heh... Go after him if you like, Jill, I would rather him like you than that God awful annoying Popuri...' You give her a surprised stare. 'Umm, well, back to why I left you here, Jill,' she continues 'I want you to take care of this colt. We don't have room for it on the farm, and I really, really don't want to get rid of it.' She looks at you pleadingly. You say:
'That's awesome! Now I have something to help me on the farm!'
'Aww, a horsey! Of course I will take it! Yay! It's cute!'
'I will not take that horse from you! Ick, I don't want to clean up horse poo!'
'Umm... Sure... Just stay away from me Ann!'
'Great! I will drop it off at your house later! Right now, why don't you eat dinner with us? I want us to be friends.' She smiles, again. How come her eyes close everytime she smiles? you wonder as you follow her to their house. She leaves the horse in the pasture. She enters the house and you step in. It's a little bigger than yours, but not much. Gray and what appears to be her father are already sitting down. Ann introduces you to her father, Mr. Green, and again to her brother, Gray. You wonder where her mom is, but you don't ask. There are two empty seats, and Ann rushes to the one farthest from Gray, sticking you in the seat right next to his. You sit down awkwardly, and Ann begins chattering away about her day. You can't help but notice Gray keeps staring at you. You catch his eyes and smile a little, and he looks away and makes a small grunting noise. You roll your eyes and look back at Ann. She had just gotten to the part where she gave you the horse. 'Oh, and then she named it... Wait, you didn't name it Jill! You need to name it! What are you going to name it!?' She looks really scary, and you decide to name it the first thing off the top of your head. 'Umm... Okay... I name it...'
