Grey's Anatomy has been pegged as show basically for the female population. This is patently silly. There are female story lines to be certain, but there are also decidedly male-oriented story lines. This all is an indication of a bigger issue referring to the pigeon-holing of TV programs allegedly aimed at a certain demographic even when they really aren't. Greys's Anatomy is a perfect example of a TV show which has been unfairly characterized as a show only for women and disinclined hubbies.
Grey's Anatomy, of course, doesn't actually have to fret about this issue because its popularity is enormous already.
Grey's Anatomy is not a rom-com along the lines of a Julia Roberts or Reese Witherspoon movie. It is drama, pure and simple. Just because the writers have made it friendly to both genders, doesn't mean that ABC should market it only to their female viewer ship. However , within this the maze lies. Grey's Anatomy has likely reached its loft perch of popularity only because ABC marketed it to the female sex. This is usually because there are only one or two television shows out there that are both female friendly and not atrocious.
However , there are still those uncooperative males out there who refuse to acknowledge that Grey's holds for them anything of worth. ABC, if they want to, could prove them wrong.
I suspect this show is really quiet entertaining as it consists of both drama and a fairly good story line. It actually has me hooked, i have been following Greys anatomy each week and when I cannot watch it on tv, I watch Grey's Anatomy.

According to a public relations release summing up the study, in almost 46% of the dramatized fits actors portraying doctors or nurses performed'inappropriate practices, including holding the person down, trying to stop involuntary movements or putting something in the person's mouth.
The whole point is too look like something actually bad is happening, implying the'doctors' had better react with the correct mix of concern and quick, official-looking action.
