"DEIDARA!!!"
The blonde teen sniggered as he heard his best friend's disgruntled shout. He kept running down the dormitory halls, trying to get away from the slightly older boy.
"Try and catch me, Saso-kun!" Deidara called back to the red head.
Sasori rounded the corner of the hall. "I'm not kidding around, Deidara!" He yelled.
"You may not be, but I never said that I'm not!" Deidara shot back, holding up a manilla envelope. The sight of said enevelope made Sasori's fiery eyes light up brighter in hatred.
Deidara laughed as he turned around to start running again, when he crashed into a huge body. He stumbled back a bit, shaking his head. When he looked up, he saw his friend, Kisame.
"Kisame!" The blonde cried, grinning.
"Deidara, I have no idea what you did to poor Sasori, but you're annoying me. Get back to your room." The blue teenager ordered, pointing in the direction where Sasori was.
Deidara visibly sagged. "But - but - but -"
He was cut off by Sasori snatching the manilla envelope out of the blonde's hands. "But nothing, Deidara. Now, come on. We're going back to the dorm." The red head caught the blonde by the wrist and started dragging him back to their shared dorm.
"Yes, Master." Deidara sighed, defeated. He let himself be brought back to the dorm.
Once Sasori closed the door, he turned on Deidara. "Now, anyone could see that this envelope is empty. Where are they?" He growled.
Deidara smirked. "That's for me to know, and you to never find out!"
Sasori nodded. "I see." He pushed past his blonde friend and into the kitchen.
Deidara gulped. Oh shit. I fucked upthis time, didn't I? He thought. He shrugged to himself and flopped down on the couch, turning on the TV. He knew he should have been doing his homework, but he had study hall first block the next day, so he brushed off the notion.
Deidara and Sasori were in their second year of Konoha High. Sasori was a straight A student while Deidara...
Not so much.
"Sasooooriiiii?" Deidara called.
No reply.
"Master?" His voice's pitch going up just a bit. He sighed when he was greeted with silence again and stood up, looking into the small kitchen. Sasori was cooking something - something that smelled good.
"Sasori-sama?" Deidara yelled.
Sasori ignored him completely.
Deidara furrowed his eyebrows. Geez, Sasori was mad this time. The blonde sighed as he realized exactly what he would have to do to gain Sasori's trust again.
---
Sasori woke the next morning to complete darkness. He stood up and fumbled around the room until he found the light switch.
He looked around the now illuminated room to see a small white envelope on his desk. He raised an eyebrow at the parcel before opening it.
It was the pictures.
The pictures of him sleeping that Deidara had taken. It was completely embarassing, since he looked like a little kid having a bad dream.
Sasori sighed as he hid the pictures away. He would have to acknowledge Deidara now. Deidara could screw up sometimes, but he had good intentions...sometimes.
Sasori walked out of his bedroom and into the 'living room' of the dorm. He immediately smelled something burning, making his senses go alert. He hurried into the kitchen, where he saw Deidara trying to cook bacon. And failing miserably.
"Idiot. What are trying to do, burn down the building?" Sasori snapped quietly, rubbing the sleep out of his right eye.
Deidara turned around and couldn't help but notice the action and think, he looks cute doing that.
Deidara had had a crush on Sasori for a while now. He couldn't have stopped it - he was defenseless against the strong feelings that had slapped him across the face like a mother fucker. He smiled through the sudden aching in his chest, somehow, and replied in giving Sasori the most innocent look he could muster. "I was trying to make you breakfast, but it didn't work out well."
"I can see that, idiot." Sasori snatched up the spatula and threw away the burned bacon. "Let me take care of breakfast."
While Sasori worked at the bacon, it was quiet between the two friends. That is, until Deidara broke the silence.
"So I'm guessing you got the pictures."
It was more of a statement than a question, and it was in a dangerous tone. Sasori had only heard that mischeivous tone once before, when Deidara had been the first one, other than Itachi, to know that Sasuke was dating Naruto. Deidara had talked to Itachi like that for about a week until Itachi caved in and told the rest of their little group.
When Sasori had first heard it, he had glanced at Deidara. Not because he was impressed with his friend's ability to figure these things out - no, no, nothing like that. He had glanced at the blonde just to look him over, to eye him with a look that he had never used on anyone else other than him.
Deidara was special.
Deidara was innocent and practically screaming out for Sasori to do unspeakable things to him that even Sasuke wouldn't do to Naruto.
And that was saying something.
Sasori smirked to himself as created Deidara's face scrunched up in pleasure in his mind. He imagined making out with the mouths on Deidara's hands and turning Deidara on by such an act.
Sasori sneaked a glance at Deidara before answering. "Yes." Was all he said, putting the bacon on a plate. He stretched, going back to his room so he could change into the school uniform.
Deidara watched his red headed friend slink back to his room while he crunched on a piece of bacon. He smirked to himself.
Maybe, just maybe, Sasori would be easier than Deidara had expected.
