It's Complicated.... chapter four....

"Weirdie!" Lacey giggled then ran over to Andie. "but he's right like usual! We'll add some pumps and a clutch and maybe a diamond necklace." She ran into the closet andAndie followed her.

As soon asAndie came close toLacey she spun around and held out a pair of dark teal pumps with little bows on the top and a matching leather clutch. "Perfect!" She sang. "Done accessorizing! Now time for hair and make up!"

She ran out of the closet. Wow! It was hard to keep up with this girl! She had the looks of a gorgeous twenty one year old but the attention span of a three year old! ButAndie liked it. It meant less talking and paying attention for her! Because obviouslyLacey could occupy herself!

Andie followed slowly. She had ran to the bathroom that was so big! It had the most gorgeous bathtub! There was mirrors and counters lining the round walls and a huge bathtub in the middle with a light shining over it. There was a door that led to a toilet and sink and then next to it was a shower that was huge! It didn't have glass walls like my shower back home. It was almost like a room itself except with just an open door and it had a shower head hanging from the ceiling! The walls were a dark brown brick to match the rest of the room!Andie was speechless and frozen just taking in the beautiful sight! The Bloomwoods really were rich! And this was only the sons room! Just think what the parents bathroom looked like!

"Yeah yeah! It's a bathroom! Get over it! Now come sit in this chair so i can curl your hair and do your make up!" Lacey said with an exasperated tone!

Andie chuckled and walked over to whereLaceywas standing in front of a mirror. She had a hot curling iron in hand and a huge array of new make up pieces layed out on the counter.Andie sat in the chair and let her do everything whileshe closedher eyes and thought about how alikeshe and this Skylar kid might actually be. He's still a perv but maybe not as much asshe thought!

About forty five minutes laterAndie was grabbing the clutch Lacey was holding out forher and pushing back a curled piece ofher bangs fromher face. Lacey had curledAndie's hair in record time, especially sinceshe had such thick light brown hair. She had then doneAndie's make up and put inher earrings makingAndie look as gorgeous as the bathroom! Lacey on the other hand was still wearing the dress she had been wearing earlier but had managed to do her make up as she was doing Andie's. And her hair was already perfectly straight so now all she had to do was get dressed. "It's about you and Skylar! Not me!" She had said whenAndie suggested we just do easy make up and then helpLacey get ready.

We both walked down the hall towards her room to get her a dress and accessories. Lacey was a fun person to talk to because no matter what the topic was she always had something to say or add! There was never a dull subject with her! She knew all the gossip with all the stars, she knew all the fashion tips from the big trend setters! She knew everything that had to deal with appearances or celebs! It was the coolest!

Andiesat quietly on Lacey's bed as she dug around in her closet complaining that there was nothing that would match with the pink, tightly fitted, one shoulder dress she was wearing that came just above her knees. She paired it with some light cream, peep toe heels and a woven, leather Jimmy Choo bag with a gold chain and a gold, multi circle, metal cuff. She looked absolutely stunning yet kept repeating, "Ugh I look hideous." As shefixed her make up in the mirror of her own bathroom which looked almost identical to Skylar's except for instead of the tub in the middle there was almost a large, square, tiled hole in the floor with a ginormous shower head above it.

Finally Evelyn called tothe two girlsfrom down the stairs to hurry up orthey were going to be late. So Lacey andAndie grabbedtheir things and headed down the stairs to the living room. Evelyn was sitting on a nice, cream, leather love seat next to..... Oh snapAndie forgot his name! ...... well her husband! Skylar was sitting in a matching chair in the corner. His eyes practically popped out of his skull as he stared atAndie and Lacey.Andie blushed and looked down ather heels which were uncomfortable and hard to walk in.

"Great! You guys are finally finished!" The husband said sarcastically.

Evelyn patted his arm softly. "Now Charles." She warned and Charles smiled at her. Evelyn turned towardsAndie and Lacey who were standing in the door way. "Come sit! We have a few rules to establish."

Andiefollowed Lacey who sat on acouch across from the love seat. There was a glass coffee table rimmed with gold in betweenthe two girlsand Evelyn and Charles. PersonallyAndie would have just sat on the floor likeshe usually did butshe guessed that wasn't acceptable here.

"So there are a few rules tonight." Evelyn began. "First, nothing mentioned about this being arranged. That is our private matter that no one needs to know."Andie rolledher eyes. Of course she didn't want any one to know because it was insane!!! "Second, Skylar and Andie, you have to act like a real couple."

"What does that entail?" Skylar asked from his corner.

Evelyn sighed. "It entails holding hands, talking, being close together, and kissing when asked." Skylar nodded quietly and Evelyn continued on with her rules. "Third, the story is that Andie and Skylar met when we came to visit the Richins during the summer and you guys have dated ever since. Then one night Skylar flew in during a big community dance and asked you to marry him up on stage while the band played your two's song."

"What's our song?"Andie asked confusedly.

Evelyn sighed again. "Anything you two want it to be! It's your and Skylar's song!"

Andienodded and looked at Skylar. "Break by Three Days Grace!"

He laughed and Evelyn looked cross. "Something romantic, my dear!"

Shethought for a minute. "Strawberry Wine by Deana Carter."

Skylar nodded. "I don't know what it is but okay."

Evelyn nodded also. "Yes that song will do. We'll play it in the car so Skylar can at least know what song your talking about." Evelyn looked from me to Skylar. "And lastly, please be on your best behavior for this dinner!"

Every one nodded and then headed out to the limo that was there to take them to the dinner.Andie had only ridden in a limo once whenShe was younger and was going to some birthday party for this rich girl.They listened to Deana Carter the whole way there. And then finallythey Bloomwood's and Andiearrived......... AndAndie started to get butterflies.........She felt likeshe was going to hurl..........
