I walked back to Sesshomaru grinning. I just continue to amaze myself! Haha, kidding. But that was pretty cool. Anyway, I said my final goodbyes and we left the clearing. We walked in silence as we listened to the birds chirping and the stream running nearby.

"Hey, where is the village from here?" I asked suddenly wishing I had my backpack because I was really thirsty.

"Pretty far. I ran about 5 miles," he smiled slyly. I shook my head giggling at his cockyness. Rin moaned and we both shut up, stopped, and looked at her.

"Help! Lord Sesshomaru please don't.... Don't let him get me my Lord!" she groaned quietly as her face crinkled up in fear and her eyes squeezed shut.

"Should we wake her up?" I whispered not taking my eyes off of her.

"No, let her sleep. She's just dreaming and she needs the rest desperately," he said looking up at me. I glanced up a little confused.

"But if she is having a nightmare she isn't technically resting. At least whenever I have a nightmare it screws with my sleep. Please. Just wake her and let her get a drink or something. I know she's bound to be parched after consuming all that miasma. I know I was," I said realizing that I never actually quenched that thirst and that thinking about it made me even thirstier.

"That's a good idea," he said shifting Rin in his arms so I could see her. I shook her gently and whispered her name sweetly as if I was soothing a crying baby. She awoke rather quickly and stretched.

"Hello my Lady. My Lord," she smiled nodding at both of us.

"You know Rin, you can call me Tieana. I would feel better if you did," I said but smiled sweetly.

"Ok. Tieana. My Lord," she said again smiling as she said my name. "Where are we?" she suddenly asked.

"Well we've stopped to get something to drink and maybe find something to eat too," I said.

"Okay," she whispered. She was so tired. So was I come to think of it. That miasma takes a lot out of you. "I really would like something to eat my Lord."

"Of course Rin. Jaken!" Sesshomaru said.

"AH! Y..Yesss my Lord?" he shouted jumping out of the bushes causing me to squeal.

"Jaken, go find something to eat. Fruit preferably, considering the hour," Sesshomaru said rolling his eyes when it tripped and fell at his feet, bowing like an idiot.

"Yes MiLord Sesshomaru! What ever you say MiLord! I shall go right away!" Jaken babbled as he hopped up and ran away.

I sat down at the base of a nearby oak and rested my head on it. Sesshomaru handed Rin to me and quickly built a fire. And I mean, quickly. It probably took him two minutes to build and start that fire! Well, he is a demon so he can run like super fast, and since the leaves and grass were the perfect moisture it did not take long for him to get the fire going. Once it was lit, he sat beside Rin and me and we just sat watching the fire. Rin was slowly falling asleep again and my eyelids felt like lead. I closed my eyes for a minute and my head rolled over onto Sesshomaru's shoulder. I wanted to move my head but I didn't. I'm not sure why, but it was probably just because of the impact the miasma has had on me. I heard Sesshomaru chuckle and felt him kiss the top of my head. I opened my eyes to see him looking back down at me.

"What is so funny my Lord?" I asked quietly.

"You are. You look so cute when you sleep," he said kissing my forehead.

Rin mumbled something unintelligeable and rolled over off of my lap, softly landing on a soft grassy spot by the warm fire. When she did Sesshomaru smiled and lifted me into his lap. I sighed contently as I lay my head back against his chest and listened to his heart beat.
