The tummy - It may well be one of the most unruly sections on a person's body when it comes to losing fat, and it seems everybody is obsessed with getting a flat tummy.
Sadly a lot of people feel they can eat anything they crave and lose belly fat by working out to burn off the excess calories. Some even believe that performing hundreds of sit ups every day will give you a flat tummy, that's most likely the biggest myth around.
The reality is that exercise is a great start, but you can not out-train a bad diet. Even if you do the best exercises for burning fat you will need to pay attention to what you eat. And I am not talking about going on a diet in the traditional sense. You will see what i mean later on.
You need to understand that your stomach will never be flat until you lose fat all over your body. Maintaining a toned core means developing good eating habits for life, stop crash dieting, exercise on a regular basis and have tons of patience. Sit ups alone will never get the job done.
Here is this week's tip on how to get a flat belly : Drink more water!
Now you may have heard it beforehand nevertheless let me tell you why drinking water helps you to burn fat.
Water keeps your liver doing what it is meant to be doing. Your liver is a fat burning organ that's what it does, but when your kidneys are taxed from not drinking sufficient water or when you are chronically dehydrated your liver has to take over some of the duties of the kidneys and once that occurs, guess what, your fat burning shuts down. The best way to keep that from happening is to drink more water, 8-10 glasses a day.
