As an internet marketer you need to be careful not to fall into the trap of relying on the internet as the main source of your customer base. When you conduct most of your business activities, socialize and keep in touch with your friends and family online, it is easy to forget that there is a world that exists outside of your computer as well. Your business will suffer if you don't branch out to other arenas. In all walks of life there are people who are interested in your niche and products. Your only job is to place your site's link where it will catch their eyes. Lets now look at some of these methods so you can get started. You can now dominate facebook by using crowd conversion.
Turn your car into a advertising machine. You don't have to paint your car all over like those Yahoo and Red Bull-mobiles you see driving around. Making extreme changes to your car will get you the attention that you are after but things like local law may come into play. Large displays on your doors is an option but if this is going too far then you can use bumper stickers; they are easy to remove. Just be sure to include your site's URL. Window stickers work the same way. Your stickers can targeted towards some type of cultural statement that will encourage certain people to proudly stick it on their bumper stickers and promote your business for you.
In addition to classifieds, another great offline marketing option is display ads in newspapers. Consider placing a small advertisement in the section of your newspaper most suitable for your offer. If you start off with a modest sized ad that is only an inch or two, the cost won't be very high. If you advertise in the best section for your business, you can be found by many people who seldom surf the web. One trick you can use to track the effectiveness of your ad is to offer people who see the ad in the paper a coupon code they can use to purchase from you. Having good graphics helps offline ads (just like online ads) perform better! Using crowd conversion you can now dominate facebook
Posting fliers on bulletin boards at your grocery store, gym, or library is another effective technique. These boards are free to place your ads on. This seems simple enough but how many people do think goes to the grocery store on a normal day? This simple bulletin board technique works because it draws the eyes of most people that enter the store. Free methods usually take a lot of time and effort to set-up and then even more time to see results; this is the exact opposite.
No one is online all the time, so there are many different ways you can market to people offline! You can still market online, but you should not neglect offline marketing. Many internet marketers forget to do this, and thereby lose a significant number of possible customers! You want to make as many sales as possible, so why exclude such a large population? The best marketers are those that focus their efforts both online and offline.
