Now that Rukia had explained the how and why of you being there, there was an odd silence, like everybody was digesting it all. Ikkaku was the first one to speak, "I knew that there was an unusual aura around her but... I assumed that Ichigo was the cause of that, being that he has the inability of controlling his spiritual pressure." Ichigo's face grew red with annoyance, "inability! I beat you in-" "yes it would seem that ___-san attracts attention with that but thankfully hers isn't that immense," Toshiro interjected Ichigo with his head down, deep in thought. "I do not appreciate being interrupted like that Toshiro-san," Ichigo grumbled as Toshiro shook a little with anger. You couldn't help but stare at the fury, "do not... call me by... my first name."It's captain Hitsugaya," Toshiro stressed his title as Ichigo put his arms behind his head and looked away, "sorry."
The explanation and after discussion took longer than expected, it had already been well over an hour by the time you had concluded. During the discussion you had answered many questions presented by these acquaintances, it was like being at a news conference. There were some good points mentioned while others brought some awkward things to the table. Such as:
a. Well, Toshiro asked me about how I got here and I answered as best I could. Then, basically out of no where, Ikkaku asked what the function of a rubber duck was.
b. Let's see, at first I had a lot of questions thrown at me but I got the hang of it after a while. Orihime seemed excited about cooking for me, is that bad?
c. I asked a lot of questions actually, though I think I touched on a subject I shouldn't have. I just wanted to know why the name Aizen was so... dreary.
d. For most of the conversation I wasn't really paying attention but we some how got on the subject of good housing areas in the soul society.
e. It was exhausting after a while, jumping from one subject to the next. We were talking about different hollows then different hair products, zanpakuto then who OJ Simpson is. Nobody could stay on one steady topic.
Besides whatever you mentioned up there Yumichika brought up arrancar and who Aizen is. You learned about how powerful Aizen and his other two "former captains", the potential of the arrancar and espada, and when they all first found out about them. Orihime and Chad were hurt badly by them at the time and Ichigo was no exception, Yoruichi and Urahara had to save them. "They were called Ulquiorra and Yammy," Chad piped up, you then realized he hadn't said a word since the "hm". In fact, everybody feel silent when he spoke due to this fact but soon got over it. Anyway, now you know who this Aizen person is and what his deal is. Right about then was when you all finished up the "meeting" of sorts and everyone started to stretch and such.
Soon enough almost everybody was gone out the door, the clock read five past five and the sky was beginning to show signs of the fast approaching sunset. The few people left were your guides for the day, Renji and Rukia. They both directed you out the door and you began your walk back to the shop.
You three were held up several times, mainly by Chizuru and others who know Rukia, and had finally made your way off of school grounds. "Way to go Rukia, now we're late because of your little reunions," Renji childishly tried to mimic what Rukia had said to a group of friends as Rukia hit him, again, upside the head. "You're just jealous because I'm more popular there than you are," Rukia stuck her tongue out at him as he did the same; they turned their heads away from each other in annoyance.
After a few blocks of uncomfortable silence something swept thru the air; a menacing feeling ached in your stomach as heaviness in the air rained upon you. This was not good, at all, you could feel it. Something caught your eye at that moment; there was something in the sky several blocks away. You couldn't clearly make out what it was because the sun had already set and the sky was now dark, it definitely wasn't an airplane though. Squinting to attain clarity you saw the sky seemingly open. It did make a sound like a zip as it opened and you could see seven figures in white stepping out of the hole in the sky.
a. "Hey," you tug on Renji's sleeve, "there are... people... in the... sky."
b. "Uh" you try to get their attention as you point at the display, quite shocked.
c. "What is that," you ask as you stare at the array.
d. You say nothing, dumfounded, but still try to turn their attention to it.
e. "Why is the sky... opening up?"
a) He immediately looks up, eyes widening, "Sh!t!"
b) They both look at you for a moment then realize what you're pointing at, getting flabbergasted looks on their face.
c) Same as a.
d) "What," Renji questions concerned as Rukia answers, "look," she points to the spectacle.
e) They both raise a brow as they look at you then turn their gaze to the sky.
Attention now on the scene in the sky the two you're with are now incredibly concerned. Rukia picks up her phone as Renji follows, before they could do anything though both phones began to beep. They open their phones and a GPS is shown on the glowing screen with seven red shapes together, "Rukia, Renji, ___!" Ichigo's voice shouted to you three as you saw him running towards you in his soul reaper uniform. On the screen the shapes began to scatter and Renji reacted, "I'm going to trail the one over there!" He was jumping over rooftops without another word, leaving you with Rukia and Ichigo. "It would seem that all the other soul reapers have begun to intercept the rest except two..." weight increased in the air as you turned to look behind you; standing before you was a man in white.
He wasn't very tall and he had an almost dumpling shaped thing on his head, some sort of bandage was wrapped around one side of it. It was covering his right eye that was also hidden by his dull-blonde hair. His other eye was barely visible because of the thing on his head; it made a sort of crescent shape around his eye. Chad had run out of an alley somewhere and was now facing the guy. Square and jagged teeth began to show as he grinned, "you aren't a soul reaper, oh well, my loss." He had a funny voice when he talked because of his teeth but he still managed to get in front of Chad, who had his battle arm ready, in a flash, about to stab him with his bare hand. Then Ichigo flash stepped and grabbed the guy's wrist, blocking him from Chad. The man began to shout some insults as Ichigo unsheathed his massive sword from his back, Chad temporarily frozen in shock. "Chad... leave now," "Ichigo, if it's my injury-" "go." Chad paused for a moment then ran in the opposite direction.
Out of no where you saw Rukia, in her school uniform, jump on Ichigo holding him back and pinning him on the ground, "what the - Rukia - ow!" The voice that giggled and taunted Ichigo wasn't Rukia's, soon enough you saw Rukia in soul reaper attire dart past you to fight this man. The man jumped to her and she quickly unsheathed her sword, blocking him and being pushed back in the process. You ran to the front of a nearby building to get out of the way as dust gathered where the guy had pushed her back. They stopped about 30 feet way and Rukia jumped backwards onto a telephone pole, applying force and momentum as she bent her legs and pushed off. Raising his hand the guy stopped her blade with his right hand, introducing himself as arrancar 16 D-Roy. Rukia was about to introduce herself when D-Roy interrupted, "skip it. If I had to listen to everyone I kill tell me their name, there'd be no end to it." "At the very least you should now the name of my zanpakuto."
Putting her blade in front of her Rukia called out for it softly, "dance, sode no shirayuki." Slowly spinning it her sword grew a sliver-white sash at the end on the handle as a shine spun with it; it was now completely white, "some no mai... tsuki shiro!" She sliced it thru the air and, before you knew it, was beside D-Roy with a glowing circle around them. Ice began to creep up his leg when he broke free of it and flew upwards several feet laughing, "Tough luck soul reaper! I fight in the sky; you can't hit me up here!" Rukia smiled slightly at this, "what a pity." The circle on the ground began to glow again and D-Roy's laughing stopped as the ice rushed to the sky, his grinning and dismayed face frozen in it. Rukia explained that her sword could reach targets in the sky as well as on the ground as D-Roy cracked and fell to pieces with the ice.
Rukia put her sword back, proud of the defeat of an enemy. But the glory didn't last for long as a much more powerful and even heavier pressure filled the air around you. There was another man in white, but he was taller and had a jaw-like bone on the side of his face. His hair was a sort of teal that matched his piercing eyes, a turquoise on the corners of his eyes. As he floated down from the sky you could see his well toned chest and stomach that was revealed by his opened jacket. The sleeves were rolled up his arms and his hands were in his pockets. Once his feet touched the ground a wave of energy swept across the street, sending your skirt up as you tried to keep it down. "Which one of you is strongest... don't make me ask it again," he wore a psychotic grin as he said this. "Ichigo, get ___ out of here! Run!" Before she could say anymore the man stabbed Rukia in the stomach with his right hand, causing her to freeze and grunt in pain. "I figured it wasn't you," he said as he tossed her to the concrete. You watched in horror as blood seeped from her mouth and Ichigo charged him, "Rukia!"
The man stopped and deflected Ichigo's blade, sending him to the sky. "Don't waste my time soul reaper, just release your banki already," the man casually commanded as you began to rush to Rukia's side. Beforehand the man hadn't noticed you but then he saw you begin to approach Rukia, before you knew it he was right in front of you, stopping you from taking two steps. His eyes meet with yours as he towered above you, weight in the air increasing as he loomed over you. "You must be the girl," he continued to look you up and down, "you don't look very powerful. Your spiritual pressure is something else though." Roughly grabbing the front of your shirt he lifted you up over him in the air like it was nothing and continued to study you. "You're hiding something from me aren't you... well, spit it out!"
a. Stay frozen up there, 'what do I do?'
b. I spit on the ground, "there... happy?"
c. "I don't know what you're talking about," you continue to glare at him while trying to keep it cool, but end up shaking a little.
d. "P-put me down," you grumble holding onto his arm.
e. Begin to squirm and maybe kick a little, "let go!"
a) He smirks, "cat got you're tongue?"(Ha-ha, Gimmy kitty :3)
b) At first he looks mad then smirks, "I like your spirit." "It doesn't like you," you say glaring at him as he starts to laugh.
c) He holds your glare with his then chuckles, "oh, I'm sure you do."
d) "Aw, did I scare you," his laughter shakes you as you continue to dangle from his arm.
e) He drops you and you hit the hard ground, "ow" you rub you behind, "I did what you asked... now it's your turn."
Before he could do any more Ichigo attempted to attack him and he pushed him back. "I'm Grimmjow Jaggerjack, the sexta espada, and I'm going to take your little friend here unless you release your banki soul reaper."
a. "G-get him Ichigo," you yell loudly like a cheer, receiving odd looks from the both of them.
b. Without another thought I rush to Rukia's side, 'I hope she's not too badly hurt.' But your eyes meet her blank face and tears begin to fall.
c. "Rukia," you look over to see your badly wounded friend as tears slip down your cheek.
d. You clench your fists and stand up, shaking, you yell out of rage, "Kick his a$$ Ichigo!"
e. "Damn it," you mumble as you pound your fists on the pavement, trying to suppress oncoming weeping.
