--Of wolf and man-- 1 (A yyh story)

Okay to begin, the title --Of wolf and man-- It is indeed the name to a Metallica song but I asure you it is no way incorperated with it... yet... onward with the looks of the charactor!! The charactor's name is Reikyo (Ray-keo). She is about half an inch shorter then Hiei (Just for sanity's sake I'm going to say Hiei's five foot, ke-day?) She's about 34 but only looks about 16. Her eyes are a pale, pale blue color with a red ring around the outside of them. Her hair, about like Yuske's without gel, is just worn as a white puff on her head (Not old person white, like so blond it's white.). Reikyo has black wolf ears and a tail to match it. Her weapon of choice it a katana but she's skilled with about every weapon there is. She has an attitude similar to Hiei's only she slightly more social. Key word slightly. She wears all black clothing, a pair of boots -- black, a tight tang-top -- black, and baggly pants with to many pockets to count -- of course black. Now that I'm done with the discripction on with the story type thing!!
FINALLY!!
Running, always running. This day was no different for Reikyo Nagashi. She'd been running and forever searching for about 17 years now. Running through one of the many forests in the Makai, Reikyo was hoping to lose the horde of demons chasing her. Simply because she killed a few of them when they wouldn't let her sleep. "Damn it." She hissed under her breath as a small dagger came flying towards her. She dogded as gracfully as she could -- considering half of her pockets her full of gold trinkets she'd slipped off of various demons, humans, etc. Though she wasn't the thief she once was, she was still pretty damn good. Another dagger wizzed by her head. "Shit, do these guys ever give up?!" Reikyo whispered to herself slightly alarmed. Fumbling through her many pockets at a speed that was almost to quick to follow, her fingers clasped around something -- her faithful portal. 'This baby's gotten me out of many situations' Reikyo thought to herself as a portal appeared. She looked back and then dove through it. She landed on her butt in the middle of a street somewhere. Slowly standing up, while exaiming her surrounds, all of her stolen goods jingled in her pockets. 'Hm... wonder where I am... this doesn't look familiar.' While she was pondering a red Hummer came flying up the road, headlights shining brightly. Reikyo's eyes widened as the vehicle approached. Thoughts raced as she put her hands out in front of her and said a few quick words. The Hummer stopped suddenly. She sighed deeply while looking at the vehicle. "Must be in the Human world... damn my portal always seems to do this when I'm in a hurry..." She said looking warily at the huge hunk of steel and plastic. Suddenly the driver-side door flew open and an extremally tall man -- well extremally tall to her -- stepped out. Reikyo glupped knowing that if she fought this man she'd be in even more trouble then she was already in. 'Shit, shit, SHIT!' Her mental self screamed. "What the hell do you think your doing!" The man bellowed at her in a tone that made her want to drop-kick him. "I outta kick your ass!!" Being the smart aleck she was she said "Well here it is, some and kick it." While pointing to her butt. She instantly cursed herself for saying that as the huge guy lumbered at her. She braced for the attack that never came. Reikyo opened her eyes and looked around to see a man not much taller then herself standing on the man was laying on the ground unconsious. "What the fuck to you think your doing!" She screamed at him. "Hn... obviously saving you from getting beaten by a human." She narrowed her eyes at him as she heard voices coming from down the street. "I can take care of myself A-hole." "Sure didn't look like it weakling." Reikyo's eye twitched at the last word. Last time she heard it was when she'd lost her dearest friend, Akio. This was when she was still a leagendary theif with Yoko Kurama. Akio, Yoko and herself were to raid the vault of the St. Beast's castle, Yoko worked the locks while Akio and herself held off the gaurds. The doors were open and they were in the vault. The three were home free, but in Yoko's own greed he tripped an alarm and more gaurds flooded in. More then Akio and Reikyo could handle. Akio died because of Yoko's careless greed, Reikyo could never forgive that bastard. He left her to die after he got what he came for, he left with the item and said nothing more then 'weaklings deserve to die' but Reikyo wouldn't die without revenge. She pulled her portal out of her pocket and took herself and Akio's body to some remote forest in the Makai. From that day on she had been running and searching. Now here she was in the precence of this man who'd just called her weak. Her eyes filled with rage as she starred him down. The voices she heard down the street were at the side of the road now. "Whoa a demon chick." One of them said. Another more annoying one came, "Wow she's a hottie and look she's the same hieght as the shrimp, she sure dresses like him too..." The voice made her cringe as she glanced over to see three men with black, orange and red hair. The red haired one had stayed quiet. She looked back to the short one. "Aren't going to attack me? Most weaklings would in their desparation." He said raising an eyebrow to Reikyo. She chuckled. "Ah... at that you are right, most would. But I am not like most as you can see, I am most different and you've already fallen into my trap." He looked around quickly. "Trap?" As soon as the word came out of his mouth several creatures made of shadows attacked him. They weren't very strong, just strong enough to buy Reikyo time to get away. She smirked then bolted, though she was fairly strong she didn't have any time to waste. She had to find Yoko and fulfil her revenge.
