A Runescape guide to cooking and fishing.


Cooking is really a skill that is greatest raised along with fishing, and while not the most profitable skill, it is certainly worthwhile to level it up (specifically in case you like to go pking)

~~~~~The best way to raise Cooking~~~~~.

This way only works if you could have a lot of funds.

Level 1-15:

Invest in a Tiny Net (offered in Port Sarim), a Tinder Box (offered in all general stores) and an axe (sold opposite the Lumbridge Graveyard) and head to Draynor Bank.
You will find a few fishing spots next for the lender. Take your Tinder Box, Modest Net and Axe, and use the Little Net on a fishing spot (fishing exp!)

Wait a few seconds and.. LIKE OMG A SHRIMP!

Maintain fishing shrimp until you've got 25. Then go cut down a tree (woodcutting exp!), and light the log you receive on fire (firemaking exp!). Then use a shrimp for the fire, right click the shrimp which comes up about the screen and choose 'Cook all' and sit and observe it cook.

Dangers - If you are a low level in combat then there's a couple of dark wizards near the fishing spots that can easily kill you. Avoid them whatsoever expenses. Bear in mind to watch out for fishing and woodcutting randoms.

Level 15-20:

You said you had a great deal of funds - heres in which you receive to spend it.
Buy the best sort of fish it is possible to cook in a raw condition. Then guess what, you cook it!
Obtain as several fish as you are able to at a time and then mass-cook them some place around a financial institution.
The first fish to begin off with is trout - you are able to acquire them like everywhere.
If you're a member then head to the forums to get them. If you are not a member then you can still look for the forums, or uncover a place in which trout are cooked on a populated world and buy them there.

Level 20-25:

Same as just before, but invest in Pike instead.

Level 25-30:

Now buy Salmon!
Salmon were born to become cooked, by you of course.

Level 30-40:

This time you're purchasing tuna.
At level 32 you may be able to enter the Cooking Guild, where you may uncover cooking a great deal simpler.

Level 40-45:

Obtain Lobsters, these points are incredibly simple to purchase.
They heal lots too.

Level 45-80:

Invest in and cook Swordfish.
These items are pretty tough to purchase, and you are going to need a great deal of them. You may well need to take into account getting your fishing up around this point, or to continue purchasing lobsters.

Level 80-99:

If you're a member, you ought to now be getting Sharks.
If not, continue using whatever technique you used prior to.
Congratulations, you're the ultimate Chef!

Now, fly fish for Trout, cook, repeat. Yay!

Fishing Level 40-60:
Fly fish for Salmon. And yes, you receive to cook them too.

Fishing Level 60-85:
Now go fish for Swordfish. And *gasp* cook them.

Fishing Level 85-99:
If you are a member then catch Sharks. If not, maintain catching Swordfish.
