Dark Oneshot for xena505
Name: Yuki Tamashii (Snow Soul)
Age: 14
Looks: long white hair that she wears in pigtails, bright blue eyes, usually wears dresses
Personality: kind, rather sarcastic when she wants to be, not a huge fan of Risa, big book worm
Friends: Daisuke, Riku
Abilities: She is very intelligent
“Tamashii-chan!” Yuki turned from her book to find Daisuke running towards her. She placed her dragon bookmark in her novel as he approached.
“Hello Daisuke.” He smiled at her as he finally caught up. The snow around them was out shined by Yuki’s pure white hair. Her bright blue eyes flickered with happiness as Daisuke began to speak.
“Mind if I walk you home today? Harada-chan didn’t want me to walk her home.” Yuki shook her head. What Daisuke saw in Risa was beyond her entirely. She thought Riku would be a much better match if Daisuke could see it.
“Of course Daisuke, I would be honored.” She smiled once again as Daisuke fell into step with her. She gripped her novel tightly as they walked carefully along the sidewalk. Snow was beginning to fall gently around them as they continued.
“What are you reading?” Daisuke asked curiously. Yuki showed him the cover of the novel.
“Pride and Prejudice, it’s very good. The story is all about an independent woman who falls in love with a man she never would have dreamed was the one for her. He’s cynical and sarcastic, but he learns to love a simple girl from a crazy family.” Yuki felt a connection with this book. Now if only she could find her cynical and sarcastic prince charming.
“Cool, it sounds quite interesting.” Daisuke mused as they reached Yuki’s small home.
“Yea, I’ll see you tomorrow right?” She asked him. He nodded and waved her off as she entered the house.
“Is that your boyfriend hunny? You have to let me meet him!” Yuki’s mother was a skinny woman with blond hair and bright blue eyes which she had given to her daughter.
“No mom, that was just Daisuke walking me home.” Yuki sighed at her others strange look. Yuki’s mom wanted her to have a boyfriend so badly it was ridiculous.
“Oh, maybe you should bring home another of your male friends hunny.” Her mother would not give up, it was bothering Yuki more than ever now.
Yuki ignored her mother’s speech on how a man would improve her life and walked up to her bedroom. She shut the door quietly and laid down on her bed, staring at the ceiling.
“Why me god?” She whispered to the ceiling before closing her eyes. The sun was setting over her balcony as she began to dose slightly. Sleep was about to claim her fully when there was a crash on the balcony. Her eyes shot open and she stared at the window leading outside. A mass of black feathers and blood was all she was able to catch.
With careful steps, she stepped off her bed and walked to the balcony. Upon a closer look she found a man beneath the feathers and blood. He was trying to stand carefully, but kept falling back to the ground. Yuki quickly slid open the door and kneeled to help the man. His wings receded and became a rabbit like creature who nuzzled it’s master.
“I’m going to help you okay? You need to trust me.” The man looked up at her and Yuki gasped. His eyes were a dark purple as was his hair. There was blood speckled on his face, but it couldn’t hide the beauty of this man.
“Can you talk?” She asked. He tried, but a rasping noise escaped his throat. He started coughing and blood spurted up, rolling down his chin. Yuki watched him carefully and decided. She ran over to her bedside table and pulled out bandages. She kept them in her room since she had read the entire medical section of the library last year. She ran back to the man and pulled his arm over her shoulders. He was rather heavy, but she managed well enough.
Yuki set him on her bed, not worrying about the blood stains it might make. With skilled hands, she began bandaging his bare arms. In truth she was very hesitant about removing any of the man’s clothes. She searched carefully across his torso and ripped open his shirt under which the blood was wettest and darkest. He had a huge gash on his abdomen that stretched from his thigh diagonally towards his chest.
The blood was thick and didn’t seem to be congealing well. The man moaned in pain as she touched the outside of the wound.
“This is going to sting, a lot.” She informed him. He nodded and held tightly to her night dress as she pulled a vial of alcohol from her drawer and began dabbing it onto the wound with a cotton ball. He hissed in pain as she continued to rub in the liquid. It took her a long time, but she finally cleaned and wrapped the wound.
The man had since passed out on her bed. Yuki made herself busy around the room getting the blood stains from the balcony and floor. She had always been very cleanly for the most part. When she finished, she stared over at the man now occupying her bed. His chest was bare aside from the fresh bandages now covering his wound. Those dark eyes were closed in sleep and his hair laid tousled about the pillow.
Yuki imagined this man must be beautiful. She had never seen someone with such a reaction to moonlight. Under the white light he looked like a wounded angel. She moved some of the hair from his face and watched him as he slept. It was moments before his eyes fluttered open once more to meet her own. She smiled gently and removed her hand from his forehead.
“How are you feeling?” She asked him kindly.
“I have felt better, but I’m okay thanks to you.” His voice was quite sensual, but it was also hoarse with tiredness.
“That’s good, may I ask who you are?” Her curiosity had gotten the better of her. The man tried to sit up, but flinched in pain and fell back against the sheets.
“Might as well, I did trespass on your home after all. My name is Dark.” He turned to face her and see her reaction. She simply looked at him with gentle eyes.
“The phantom thief, yes Risa has mentioned you many times.” Yuki flinched at Risa’s name. She didn’t like the fan girl much.
“Ah, yea she is rather interested in me isn’t she?” Dark sat up, but only with Yuki’s help and the pillow propped up behind him.
“You know her?” Yuki asked curiously.
“Yes, she keeps following me around. I was fighting tonight and she screamed at me. It distracted me and got me cut. Not only did I drop the satin scroll, but I’m probably worrying a certain someone.” His eyes glimmered as he looked at Yuki.
“Your girlfriend?” Yuki found herself getting jealous. Her jaw tightened in anticipation of his answer.
“No, nothing like that.” Dark moved his gaze to the ceiling for a few moments before looking back at Yuki.
“So, I was the closest balcony to fall on huh?” Yuki giggled slightly at her own joke. Dark grinned at her.
“Something like that, I’ve always wondered what you were like.” Yuki was confused, what did he mean? As if reading her mind, he turned to her and took her hand.
“I saw you with Risa and Riku one night. I wanted to meet you so badly. You remind of someone I knew a long time ago.” Dark reached under her chin and stared carefully into the young girls eyes. He hesitated before placing his lips on hers. It was magical. Time stopped and all Yuki could feel were his warm lips pressed against her own. Bubbles of bliss erupted in her brain as he moved his soft lips over her own over and over again.
When he broke away he kept his forehead against hers. Her breath was shallow as they stared into each other’s eyes.
“Only you Yuki, can make me feel this way.”
